Why this Hotel of all Arthurian references?

Many have already pointed out the Arthur Ashe connection. (King Arthur)

Ep3 mentions a lot more about Flushing meadows:

Its possible we teleport from the Columbus Circle sphere to the Unisphere between eps. No idea if we then still get on the subway. I do like crossing the Manhattan bridge when all for are on screen.

Forget about the early episodes when it comes to figuring out travel routes. They are designed to lead everyone on a merry chase. They do more to obfuscate then illuminate. Only the last three episodes are worth considering for routing.

Ep 6 (or more importantly, the last half of that episode) - The Mattie Hayes is now the Staten Island Ferry where the pirates are united and on board. The comic's background scene behind the British soldiers shows open water between the two forts which are St. George and Whitehall Terminals. The Mattie Hayes figurehead is the Statue of Liberty so we are in NY harbor sailing towards Manhattan. The final scene with the gorilla refers to the movie King Kong. Although we were told the gorilla isn't a clue, Mulligan is and we should be listening to him. He said, "I think he thinks I'm a woman!" a reference to Fay Wray in the movie. We are back in Manhattan.

Ep. 7 reveals the specific location in Manhattan, and Ep. 8 the penultimate directions from that location.

@TrulyRuly The OP specifically requested this thread be in order starting with Ep3. Please dont go off topic.

I also dont agree with any of your claims which you showed no justification for(5 vids are set on a boat, cant all be the staten ferry). We will never solve the later Eps without at least scratching the surface of the 'easier' puzzles.

The King Kong reference could equally refer to Naomi Watts or Linda Hamilton.
