I have an idea for a slendervlog with the express purpose of breaking as many cliches as possible, except I don't have the time, resources, or editing savvy to pull it off haha.

I second the binary/code64 shit, if you're going to do codes, at least make them interesting.

One of my biggest pet peeves is seeing the protagonists of these series find crumpled up pieces of paper with cryptic messages scribbled on to them, only for them to be ultimately pointless. They're pretty much used as an attempt at being scary, not tying back into the story at all and having no meaning other than "SPOOKY FOREBODING WORDS OOH". At least have them reference parts of your series or reveal something pertinent to the story, not random words and phrases that offer nothing whatsoever but filler.

The series I'm a part of uses a symbol, but it least it means something. Or it will, when it shows up.

10 minute videos of nothing. Don't get me wrong, I don't have a problem with a video being that long, it's just in multiple series I've seen long-ass videos that amount to nothing. They walk around in the woods a bit, talk about how much the woods scares them, rinse-repeat for 9 minutes, cryptic shit, end. This is okay if the bits leading up to the reveal either A. Have some scary stuff to back it up, or B. It has some good character development, or C. t has some plot development. Otherwise, just have a title card saying "Nothing happens for 8 minutes" and then get to the interesting stuff.

I'm fed up of generic hood and mask proxies with no character or personality. The closest thing I have to a proxy does have a mask, yes, but it has a practical use and it's part of his "lol proxies suck" act xD
And symbols in general, not even just the operator symbol...there are too many.
