We do not know what will happen to the "eliminated" patients, do we? o.o Seems hard to make a choice...
I posted the name of the book to graces' blog, maybe someone else reads it and can find out more...

Nice job, argatha & my take is that any patient still in Shady Lawn has had their fate already sealed. HTH and no worries on whomever you choose.
the May 13th Orderly cipher solve
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
It's ROT 15 and deciphers to: Look to the beginning, back in the days when Grace was whole and Karen was still in hiding. There, you will find your simple riddle. Solve to make the Orderly play once more. Ignore our message, and more will die.
Providing a link to Grace's blog from Puppets Game 1: http://lookingforderek.blogspot.com where Mr. Bun has just left a cipher comment on Grace's initial post.
Just Mr. Bun's cipher solve. Am leaving the riddle itself for y'all to have fun with!
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
It's base 64 resolving to ROT 23 which deciphers as: I am the first you ever saw, what greets you every morning and what goes out in the end.

Light?
(Hi everyone! I'm gonna try to help out on this one, but I still have to read through everything else before I actually understand what's happening.)

Hi FuzzyG- we seem to need all the help we can get.
No answer to Lady's Conundrum yet? Thot of this while driving home. Is this one of those where you count four letters into "the e leventh creature" and rot it or sumthing? Got no time to explore it now.
ETA: Also smooth move on the "Look to the beginning".

I finally posted the answer to the Jester, it seems to be right.
Good Job with the riddle amandel! I think FuzzyGoodles answers is right.
@Booba: hm, so then finding out the book would be totally pointless?
hm, let's try anyway (not sure whether to include the "the", so i tried both):
From the e lev enth creature, take the fourth letter.
From the sev enteenth creature, take the third letter.
From the second c rea ture, take the tenth letter.
From the fir st creature, take the third letter.
From the twen ty-f ourth creature, take the seventh letter.
From the fo rty -first creature, take the fourth and fifth letters.
From t he f orty-sixth creature, take the first letter.
From th e si xtieth creature, take the second letter.
From the seventy -eig hth creature, take the tenth letter.
From t he h undredth-and-second creature, take the first letter.
So it would be EECENFOTHYT or VVARFTYFIGH. I tried ROT, but that did not make much more sense... Maybe the name of the book is like a password to decypt that?

So, a saying goes that one picture is worth 1000 words. The attached with its "visibility:hidden" is located in the source code of Lady's 17May "hint" blog update

@therodd: thanks, but we needed the edition from 69
Lady gave us another hint, which I found much more helpful. I found the answer and already posted it in the comments (So if you want to find out for yourself first, don't look in the comments )

Excellent! <3 waking up to a solve & used argatha's good work to open the patient file of Christopher Silas. It reads:
Quote:
Condition: Antisocial Personality Disorder
History: Since childhood, Christopher has routinely put others in harm’s way, bullied his classmates, and manipulated people into giving him what he wants. He has been arrested multiple times for multiple crimes. At his most recent trial, he was found Not Guilty By Reason of Insanity, as he seemed unable to understand why his crimes were wrong, and showed no remorse over his many victims.
Beakman’s Notes: Sociopaths are never as interesting as fiction writers believe them to be.
14 NTAM
Reckon y'all noticed that ultimately the capital letters below each file will form a couple of sentences (first is a question) when placed in the correct numerical order.
ETA: Chewing on a croissant & the realization that Lady's latest fun was all 'legerdemain'. Wishing my butter knife was sharper in case we two should ever meet.

Just at the slight-of-hand. Last game we had a straight up book cipher. So when this became twisty I began looking for any 2 word, 11 lettered creatures.....
'tho all in the wrong spot. Gotta run. Cyas...

Nice going argatha!
A little late to the party, but I did find one (ta-da) on Amazon UK that matches up to that tiny gif

The ones on the first page do indeed spell out DREAM.

**channeling Poltergeist...They're back **
Lady questioned about Chaucer's "The Pardoner’s Tale". When answered it directs us to a new blog. So here's hoping he gives us a hint with my answer: "Death".
