I would also appreciate any advice you have for someone relatively new to these. I have only partially dont human preservation project before, I quit because of...well if you did it I am sure you can guess at what point I got angry and left

I'm currently playing FAILTECH, a sci-fi ARG that relies on communication with the characters. Emails are certain, and they also currently have US-based numbers for texting and calls. I haven't participated in the phone immersion aspect, but I know another player is currently receiving texts, and players in the past have received voice mail messages. If you're interested, it's in the "News & Rumors" section of the forums (I also linked the thread in this post). While the page count might be daunting, previous season events aren't crucial to understanding what's going on now, and much of the basic info is summed up on one of the IG sites, leaving plenty of time to catch up on those older posts if you want.

I'm not the best at giving advice, but I would encourage not being shy about sharing information that characters provide IG since the forums are OOG. We're here for collaborating after all \(^_^)/
