New Butterfinger campaign/contest: Barmageddon

So we've got:

I guess our first goal is to beat the spaceship game?

And can anyone actually read the qr code from the video? All the readers I try can't find an image.

EDIT: Well, if you last all 57 seconds, you get a "glyph." And then the game keeps going. I assume the glyph is supposed to appear on /bartndr, but the page suddenly won't load for me.

Nice job! I had notice some those but couldn't get a clear shot of them. Did you just take screenshots on the youtube video, or did you use some other program?

I've survived for 1 minute 30 seconds (after the timer starts counting up) and rescued 19 friends in one game, but I haven't been awarded any other glyphs.

Also, any thoughts on the images above? Looking at a sequence of 2-digit numbers, I thought lat/lon DDMMSS, but as such they didn't point to any reasonable location. Six clues for the six questions that cather has already correctly? Smile

Noticed the background too but hadn't looked deep enough into the rules. I did check out Mayan symbols and these don't appear to be among them, so likely invented just for this contest.

Interestingly, the 3rd and final glyphs (reading left-right, up-down) are the same, as are the 3rd and final single frame caps from the youtube video.

From the official rules, it sounds like we are still trying to find the actual contest location. Maybe the glyphs are letters or something that spell out that location?

Hmmm..I checked out some mayan symbols and what not as well, Nothing matched up. Whatever the coding spells out is the name of the website. Even if we figured the coding out, I don't think the website will exist till late april(could be wrong) maybe we have a head start. The last game is april 20 something. The website we get from those glyph's will have 6 questions about the games we have to play. This morning they posted a new message on the bartndr page:

"Otto's journal is filled with knowing – turn to page 29 and tell me where he was going. Otto was a chocolatier – he traveled the world looking for one thing. Find it, we might – if we know where he was going...."
