 		Looking for a tool that helps to analize videos
I love to look for clues in videos but its really hard to stop the video where I want it to. The media player is irratating because even when you place the cursor where you want it, it just moves to somewhere else.

So any good player or program i can use to watch videos, that lets you freese where you want and even lets you see it frame by frame if necessary?


Also know any firefox extention that lets you download videos from any website? I alredy use downloadhelper, it works great on youtube and some other similar sites but it doesn't work everywhere. And the flv format doesn't have much quality

 		VideoLAN VLC media player is pretty nifty at all sorts of stuff, and may well do what you're after. The full feature list is here.

It's free software released under the GNU General Public License, and it runs on Windows, Macs, and other platforms.


As for downloading video from sites, I've recently discovered Orbit Downloader. You might want to have a look at it to see if it's suitable for your needs.
