I always figured Jay is racking up truly astounding amounts of credit card debt that will destroy him later in life. I don't imagine he's been in any state to hold down a steady job since Season 1 ended, after all.

I'm 100% certain he didn't see a dime in insurance after the fire, though.

I think it's a little sad ARG'ers think this is a stupid question. when I participated in ilovebees, the thing that got stuff figured out was the fact that we jumped on EVERY TINY DETAIL because every tiny detail could reveal information. it's not a question of if it matters, every bit of info matters, it's a question of what will it tell us, even the most mundane answer can tell us another piece of the puzzle.

This isn't an ARG though. It's made by three college students in their free time. I think they had more important things on their mind when writing the script than "how is he getting money for things".

In the end, it really doesn't matter. This is a video series about a guy being followed by a paranormal tall guy in a suit, sans face, and being harrassed/tackled/assaulted/creeped out by people in masks. How he pays for his gas and morning pancakes doesn't really seem relevant.
