 Co-PMs and writers wanted
If you're a player don't go ruining it for yourself - PMs only please.

Hi I'm currently constructing a bit of a sand box ARG that hopefully will self perpetuate once it gets rolling.

It has many similarities to the old rpg Paranoia combined with data geo caches and one off missions. It can be played on several levels to suit personal commitment with the option of storyline involvement, short missions, turf war or just seeking and placing caches.

I am looking for Co-PMs and writers to give the project the initial shove off required to gain interest.

I have already built the initial website.

www.para-dyne.com

You may notice that it has a few elements that need improving. What can I say? I'm a novice and this is my first website ever! Razz

If you're interested in trying out anything from one-off sub-urban missions to short storylines or something bigger(!) then please PM me. I am based just outside London (UK) but I am looking to get ths rolling in the states too.

Note that this will be a non-commercial ARG. Any money made through merchandising will be plowed back into the project or pay for hosting costs - I want this to get bigger and better. ARGs by the people for the people. Very Happy

Went to sign up, and when I clicked "submit" it prompted me to choose a mail client. I suggest writing a PHP script to handle form input rather than do it the way you're doing it now. I didn't sign up just for that reason. I might be the exception to the rule, but why lose players?

Just my opinion.

Cheers Natas, it is an issue that I am already aware of and I'm looking to fix it but I'm still learning to code (I am not a PHP Ninja). Infact I used a WYSIWYG editor to make the site.

The website isn't officially launched as yet hence it shouldn't be showing up too heavily on anyones radar. I want more content to be in place first before I seed both the net and meatspace.

Okay, so I have fixed the sign up system, but ideally I need someone who can properly code, as what I have in place is a bit clunky (but admittedly I don't have to pay for MySQL Process services this way).

Any takers most welcome Very Happy

I'm intrigued. If no one else has stepped up let me know. How big an effort are you thinking of? As in - do you need some help on a few scripts here and there or are you looking for major contributions? Also - what time frame (i.e. when launched and how long will it run? Any others thinking of volunteering might be interested in your reply so maybe better to post that. Any other details feel free to pm me.
