I really, really want the bullet casing to be explained, but it's probably another red herring. :'(

YES. It annoys me more than any of the other red herrings, simply because it just doesn't fit in with the series. No one has used a gun yet... and a gun can be used in more ways then a knife. Was it an attack, defense or suicide? Against/by who?!? At least the other things you can speculate on, but that bullet casing... Grr. It just doesn't fit. This series uses knives and rocks... more personal weapons. A gun is too inpersonal, too... loud. Unsubtle.

Maybe I'm just looking to far into this, but hey, it is unfiction after all.

BONE wasn't really a red herring. It was just something that was there.

I don't know if this has been brought up, but at 5:24 (right after the screen goes black) you can hear a sort of "garbling" sound if you turn up the volume. Has anyone defined what this is or have any speculation as to why it's there?

I think it needs no explanation. We see a bullet casing in what we supose is Brian's house. Then, in entry 52, Alex shows up with a pistol:

* He may have hurt or killed Brian --> Blood in sink.
* He may have been staying in Brian's house --> Oppy showed up --> Kralie shot at it --> Slenderattack --> Blood in sink.

Which of these (or others which I haven't thought about) is the most probably correct is just a matter of knowing things we don't know about yet.

i think we can assume alex's paranoia was caused by memory loss, his friends going missing, and finding out about the operator through his tapes.

this led him to buy a gun.

the blood in the sink was from the slender cough, we clearly see the trail lead to a bottle of pills

now since that was brians house, it's possible that brian got paranoid and bought a gun after losing his own memory and all that jazz and shot at slendy but who knows.

the fact that there's no blood stains anywhere but in the sink signify to me that the bullet was shot at the operator

Just in case this hasn't been pointed out already, it's definitely Alex who drags Alex's body. Compare the shoes between entries 50 and 51.

What does Alex say at 2:56? I'm not English, I only understand "No ... spot".

I'm American, and I can't tell what he's saying either.
It kind of sounds like "Another little reflective spot".

"So, another little reflective spot" is what he says.
