According to the guy at the WRB booth at Comic Con. We all can start playing robot vs robot games August first online at the website.
Looks like he was telling porkies.

i've learned that anything heard by an 'in the know' source about a 42 Entertainment ARG will inevitable be a red herring.

Gave the Fight mode a try. I'm not hugely satisfied with it.
Again, what's with the stupid camera angles? It makes an already difficult premise (high-demand 3D game with not only dodging and weaving but punching too) almost annoying in the gimmicks included. Examples:
The game doesn't quite react to all of my button presses, making it hard to dodge and follow up with a combination.
Where do our "special" moves come from? I know the opponents have them, but what about ours? Not even a Falcon Punch?
Personal opinion, but exhibition matches should pay out. Perhaps not on the same level as a circuit match, but who's ever heard of a boxer fighting an exhibition match for free?
Other than that, it's a nice, modern, glorified Rock 'Em Sock 'Em Robots. That's about it.

The Game sometimes doesn't react to the keyinputs and the angles are bad for playing. Noisy boy strikes twice before my robot is doing anything.

Even though it says you cannot earn achievements in Exhibition, that is where I've been finding them.
I'm not happy about completing the circuit and being locked into my leader board status. Originally I was 26 now I'm 32 (maybe worse now). If you go to the Objective sub-menu under help it says "After completing one circuit, start another to face rematches with stronger versions of the opponent fighters." When I go back to circuit it says round two will start soon and sends me back to the menu.

And how the hell do you get signature moves? I've managed to stun my opponent, but thats about it!
