That motherfucker is alive.

I suspected it during the funeral video and was fairly positive when the whole issue of his mother came up.

I refreshed the Forumspring and he responded:

i know this is an awkward question , but did you see milo´s body at the funeral?

Noah wrote:
No. Like I said before, he was cremated. The funeral ceremony was odd though, because there was an empty open coffin. They scattered his ashes in it, closed it, and lowered it into the ground. I asked Milo's mom. She said it was tradition.

Thanks , i only noticed it right now.
He was really fast to answer this time.

Then why would they bother to have a funeral if he didn't really die? To throw Noah and everyone else off track? Why not just say he's gone to a psychiatric ward or something?

Milo's mom is Milo in disguise.

Because, I think, this is important to the narrative. I'm just saying, until this series ends and he never shows up again, I'm in the camp of MILO LIVES.

And I REEAAALLLY doubt I can convince anyone who doesn't already think this whole thing was way too suspicious, but as for the suicide-identificationt thing, who told Noah that? The mother? Family? It could EASILY have been a lie. And from the sounds of it, it was simply Milo living with his mom, so there would be no one else to verify this but her. And we already know she hasn't been exactly open with Noah.

Of course in the REAL world, any time there's a death you have to make a whole big deal out of it, but in a world where all the pieces don't have to fit together perfectly, I'm saying Milo might still be around and kicking.

People could still see him and talk to him in a psych ward, not if he's dead. Maybe it was to fool the observer? Its quite possible he was stalking Milo too.

Unless Milo IS the observer.

Well, the usage of plurals may imply more than one person being a part of it, so its a possibility. The motivations don't seem to really work out, but since we know so little about the observer, that isn't really proof against it. Regardless, we won't know anything for sure till later on.

just a thought concerning Milo as the observer: the notes, videos etc refer to "you will join us" ...what if this is referring to Milo and his mother? like a group of slender-survivors or something?

might be cool to see a group on the run from the slender man, guerrilla-style!

Say, were you going to do an awesome sketch for TT like you did for EMH? Because that would be awesome. I love your style!

I really like this idea. It could and would be an interesting twist. Everyone thinks the observer is this bad bad horrible thing, what if it's just trying to help.... in a creepy and cryptic way....

Mentioned in the fanart thread already, but yeah, I'm doing another picture similar to my EMH one for TT.

Aa, you guys are too nice, I'm glad you enjoy my art. <3

Dead or alive, I think Milo's with Slender Man now. As is Observer. Does that mean that Milo is Observer? Maybe. I think the unknown caller was Milo (at least "Help me" and "I'm sorry"). But I think it's more likely that Observer is more than one person, although Mr. Glasses might be the main one.

So what does Observer want from Noah? He wants Noah to "join them". But why doesn't he just take him? Observer and Slender Man are obviously doing whatever they want with him. They're in his house, in his computer, in his nasal cavity… As for Thanksgiving, it could be just another way to show Noah how completely powerless he is, they can take him anywhere and make him do anything. But still, they can't make him join them. For some reason, they want him to give himself up. Like Milo. He took the pills and it made him feel better.

Observer's attitude towards Noah has always been a bit ambiguous. He's mocked him, taunted him, but also talked about enlightenment, and about souls awakening. He wants Noah to feel helpless and alone, to give up all hope, until he starts asking himself if it might not be better to give in, to surrender, to abdicate, or anything else found in the Observer Thesaurus.

In other words, this is a battle over Noah's free will. Noah is the Winston Smith to Observer's O'Brien/Ministry of Truth, and maybe this will all end with Noah telling us that he loves Slender Man.

Now here's the funny part. I've thought about this for some time, including the connection to 1984. So yesterday I posted a question on Formspring, based on this interpretation, just to see his reaction, and I got this:

Quote:
Why are you afraid? You live in darkness, they promise you light. You suffer from loneliness, they promise you company. Do you want to remain in misery just because you fear the unknown?
Quote:
Read 1984. You'll understand my fear.

I felt validated.

But if this is the case, do we really want Noah to go to Victor Park? Sure, it will give us a potentially awesome video, but shouldn't we be worried about this "mysterious craving" to go there?

I'm not going to read through 150 pages, so excuse me if this has been stated before, but Observer = Slendy?

I mean, T12 started the same way as MH (it even had the same white text over black BG at the start), so who's to say "Observer" isn't their term for Slendy, like Operator is in MH? Plus, the drawings in the box coupled with the pictures at the end of the more recent videos seem similar to those in "HELLOTHERE".

I don't know... Observer's shown some non-Slender qualities, like communicating, and having a face. They could be two aspects of the same being, but there's still a clear difference. And I think all drawings, boxes, pictures and videos come from Observer. Slender Man is just tentacles and distortion.
