[RABBITHOLE] Regenesis

I received an interesting package in the mail today, containing a newsletter and a letterbox. Check it out:

http://www.martavius.com/images/scan001.jpg
http://www.martavius.com/images/scan002.jpg

The image files are somewhat large, but I didn't want to mess too much with the quality. The site mentioned is live, and looks very interesting.

Edit: The text block descrambles to: Regenesis
Thanks to ScarpeGrosse, we have this:

Edit: Topic tag -vpi

Heh, I like how the forums on sciencesucks.com have supposedly had it's database lost, hence the emptiness.

I call ARG. Smile

Check scan001 - between the letters horizontally. Bloody Morse, without spacing.

Congratulations.
You've discovered the rabbit hole into the ReGenesis Extended Reality.

The ReGenesis Extended Reality game is not the website you're expecting. You are about to step inside the world of ReGenesis, to become a character in an unfolding story that depends on you to push it forward.

Just like the real world, the ReGenesis Extended Reality does not stop and wait for commercial breaks. It exists at all times and it has no boundaries. Couch potatoes need not apply.

By registering your information below, you will become an investigator for the ReGenesis Extended Reality, uncovering clues and solving puzzles that will ultimately control the fate of ReGenesis. Soon you'll begin to see the ReGenesis Extended Reality in places you never anticipated and remember,

Only you know the whole story...

Well, that's pretty definitive if you ask me.

I doubt it's related, but this was the first thing that came to mind when I read the edited document:

Quote:

Plot Summary for
Mission: Impossible II (2000)

IMF agent Ethan Hunt has been sent on a mission to retrieve and destroy the supply of a genetically created disease called 'Chimera'. His mission is made impossible due to the fact that he is not the only person after samples of the disease. He must also contest with a gang of international terrorists headed by a turned bad former IMF agent who has already managed to steal the cure called 'Bellerophon' and now need 'Chimera' to complete their grand plan of infecting the whole world. In order to infiltrate and locate the terrorist group he relies on the help of an international thief Nyah of whom he quickly develops a love interest. Time is not only running out for Agent Hunt to find and destroy 'Chimera' before the terrorists get their hands on it, but he must also find 'Bellerophon' so as to save his love interest who has already become infected by the disease from a terrible and rapid death.

How are folks in the US and other places going to get to see this program? Maybe someone will upload the episodes to a peer network so we can see it, too.

Somehow I don't think pirating the show is going to go over great with the PMs.

From the Guide Page on the Regenesistv.com site:
Quote:
There are currently no episodes available.

Does that suggest what I think it does?

You mean like they might make them available for downloading? We can only hope.

saweet! I got the package in the mail today too Smile too cool...

someone's been watching me hehe...

I put the 2+2 together when I noticed the date was Oct 24, 2004, and there was a forum on the sciencesucks.com site called "regenesis", then the word mix made sense... I marked the 24th on my calendar recently to remind me to watch the premiere of ReGenesis on TMN because it looked interesting from the commercials I'd seen...

cool, I got a rabbithole Smile
