OH! And what is the importance of the symbols on the ends? Code? Binary?

I am seeing that only 2 of the symbols are the same, but with the solution we have, they are on the same half. Would it be possible that they are supposed to be on the different sides of the cube to help with alignment? and thus we have something 'wrong' in our solution?

the numbered pieces really look like they have some type of symbol on them. or i'm having a difficult times w my engrish

I was already working on what Waterborn said....the symbols on each die don't perfectly overlay.....but it might be something.[/img]
