Its a little slow, I suspect the activity re: marble hornets has caused an influx.

Nope. It's being slow for me, too. I even tried turning my modem off & back on, but to no avail.

Slender Man is malicious, as seen in "Ashen Waste". You might say "But he was just defending himself!" No. He could have vanished, or teleported them away. He chose to crush Evan's windpipe.

Hey, Chaotic Neutral can still be violent without being malicious. I mean, whatever his motives, he is still the Slender Man.
