Ok, this may be stupid, but I'm thinking that the dots on the memo might be a form of connect the dots... probably because Lucinda told us that we'd "missed the connection", and Mcfly saying something similar through twitter (of course, they might both be thinking of something else, but...).

I thought that maybe when connected the dots might point to a specific stretch of the Mississippi or something, but nothing pops out so far...

Hey guys, just checking in. As an update, I was also added to Lucinda's twitter followees - so I was checking how you were doing. Looks good! You're trying to figure out some dots it looks like. I'll see if I can help for a bit, but the only thing thing the isolated dots look like to me is a rough Aguatero logo.

also, I haven't gotten any more assignments or really anything specific to Pres for a while. When I do, I'll be sure to get to it when I can to help out.

I think I've got the answer... We're missing a "connection"-- connect the dots. I've been playing around with it in MS paint, I'm away from a printer, anyone else who wants to take a crack at it feel free!

Edit: I think the 'I' probably doesn't mean anything if I'm right about the connect the dots. LR could have put it there to orient us, so we know which way the letters go.

Damn, Just checked in now, and boy did I miss a ton! Glad that picture I found on the parent directory was indeed integral to the whole deal. Wonder if I can still get in on the smile thing. And DAMN good job, guys, damn good!

Perhaps if you place the dots over a map of the mississippi, at a scale of the EXACT length of the line in the picture, the dots will line up?

I do think it is likely that it is some sort of overlay; either that or a simple connect the dots in some configuration we haven't managed to stumble across yet. I can't see it being a cypher; it is simply too hard to tell how many rows or columns there are, if there are any, with the handwriting. It's not Braille, it's not any constellations that I can recognize, and I can't for the life of me figure out what to lay it on top of.
