Those are certainly Futhark runes. I'm just wondering - they could be inverted possibly. The reason I say this is the 21 22 is at the bottom of this card, not the top like the others.
There's certainly some work to do on birth charts astrologically speaking, but it's a subject I know very little about.
The Black Light comment looks to be right. 21 22 as letters = UV.

So, I should hold the card under a black light?

If you can, yes. I need to try it with mine, but others have had luck.
And those runes are the right way up - I've double checked. Though a process of careful deduction, I'm pretty sure they read ISLAND

After the last time I posted, the web browsers at work suddenly stopped letting me see the editing part of the page anytime I tried to post again, so I wrote this on the wiki but probably no one saw it: I remember during the The Lost Ring ARG the zodiac was used as part of some system for giving locations. I'll try to find out what that system was, and if it could be in play here.
Oh, by the way, you know how I said marks were due this morning and I'd be more free to play after that? I need a 24-hour extension ...but after that, all the marks MUST be in (I'm only buying myself an extension of sorts by totally abusing the marks *correction* deadline), *then* I'll be totally free .

And it looks like I got a card a few days ago too. I have posted the card to the 15 days wiki.
It contains a sentence from the Gettysburg Address (November 19, 1863, Abraham Lincoln)
Scorpio 21:10:27
The 21/22 notation is in the bottom of the postcard.
Update: When the card is rotated such that the stamp is in the upper left corner, this appears when exposed to UV light.

The UV markings on your card look very much like two futhark runes bisected... Could also be the roman numerals MV though.
Usefully, your card has the bottom of the Ogham script we needed. When mixed with the previous section, it can translate as THOOR BALLELEE. This is an alternative spelling of Thoor Ballylee - a castle in Ireland.

This pace is most famous as being the home to William Butler Yeats. http://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/William_Butler_Yeats
Yeats was an interesting character, full of ideals and mysterious knowledge. I'm not sure if it's his political, poetic or esoteric leanings we should be looking into yet.

Glad it helps some. Now, I was going over the card again with my UV light and I saw some extra spots. Now I was going to brush this off...until they started matching on certain letters in the description and copyright texts. However they do not make sense to me:
I am reading "Ob or ot" or "O or ot", depending if there are two letters included in one mark.

Oborot - Russian mythological creature most similar to a werewolf. The name roughly means "one who is transformed"

Fortunately, got the same postcard as Calendis. With my newly purchased UV light I see these letters in the description text highlighted : "he" from The Royal etc .
Myself and a couple of mates have found absolutely nothing else on mine. And Claire just began a new RGO ning topic:
Quote:
I thought this place was closing!!
I may have dreamt it (as I often dream things and think that theyr'e true) but I'm sure I got some email saying that gthis place ws closing? Is that the casse wi8th everyone else? Did youu all get the email?
The above typos are: g a s 8 u

From the info we have, and the card's clearly containing info at the sides, I'm pretty sure they all fit together like a jigsaw. If we can get scans of as many cards as possible - both normal and under UV we might be able to see the bigger picture.
This is backed up by a message to me from O, where he said "it's up to you, all of you. Now it's time to join the others".

Well, I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but I'm not buying a blacklight just for an ARG. I'll gladly mail mine to someone, if needs be, but I don't have the expendable income to buy something to use for a game, just to throw it in my attic and never be used again.

Dawn. I'm clueless how I'd get an UV scan or snapshot of my postcard. In my imagination I need at least three hands so suggest we each do the best our home-tech and leisure time permits.

I hear what you're saying with regard to the blacklight.
If anyone doesn't have a blacklight, you could mail it to me, I can get it investigated. PM me if you want my mailing address since this is very rapidly indexed by google for the world to see.

I've added a photo of my card to my Facebook page - is there an easy way of transferring it to the wiki?

Blacklights Most shops have a blacklight for detecting counterfeit notes, there's also clubs, or even shops for selling erm... stuff to grow plants indoors.
Each postcard seems to have an astrological bent with the text as well as the symbol.
Euphemus: Earth, in the middle as no star signs present... uh.. a horizon on a star chart?
Claire: Venus
Palaimonius: Saturn.
Erginus: Neptune
Calais: Mars
Not sure about Idmons, but we're missing Sun, Mercury, Jupiter, Pluto and whatever other astro bits the PM fancies. (Chiron, Truenode, Moon)
Has anyone asked O how many postcards he's sent out?
