So far so good, I lurked my way through marble hornets, definitely into this! Smile

I loved the way they framed that shot, the foliage almost forms a circle around Slendy. I nearly shat my pants when I saw him there XD

Uhhh, guys, submission two, at 4:37, once Milo gets freaked and runs away. Noah lets the camera swing down over his shoulder and we get some upside down business. Look who's there!
I flipped it for good measure, and obviously assisted because he's quite tiny.

EDIT: Oh, and I noticed the name Logan fairly freshly carved into the wood on the tower. Made me think of Just Another Fool, though I might be completely wrong.

If it's Logan, I doubt it's just coincidence. Probably a reference.

Old Man Slender looks like he's taking a step up here...that's interesting. Now that I think of it, there's very few occasions where they actually show him walking in front of the camera. Interesting.

Sorry for the insufferable double post, but on closer inspection of Submission #1, guess who I found hiding in the bathroom at 41 seconds? I did some editing (pretty much into oblivion) of the original cap, but it helps show up the outline of his lurky form.

EDIT: Slick, if you watch closely, you can see them putting distance between them and him, he just stands impotently in the middle of the boardwalk looking slender and creepy.

Also, earlier in the video, they show that staircase...from what I can see, it leads straight into the mangroves. That's pretty creepy.

I agree. I mean, it's one thing to get inspiration from MH, but they're going a bit too much into just making a copy of it.

I thought it was a clone right from the first submission.

"OH MAN YOU'VE HAD THAT COUGH FOREVER UH OH LOOK AT MY STATIC-Y TV OH NO YOU ARE PARANOID OF CAMERAS OH YEAH CHECK IT OUT OPERATOR SIIIIGN"

it's all so blatantly laid out, and they're such bad actors too. ugh.

Meh, the guys look like they have potential. The acting in MH wasn't particularly spectacular either.

Personally, I quite like it when the acting's not so good in this kind of thing. It makes it feel more... natural? Not really too sure of the word I'm looking for Razz

One of the fun things about MH, though, was that while they were bad actors, that was sort of the point: Alex was writing a trite script during college and gathering together any friends and friends-of-friends to do the acting because he couldn't afford better. They didn't try to say otherwise. Jay having no perceivable reaction to anything was kind of a downer, but aside from that, I think they lamp-shaded things pretty nicely.
