Just a quick note: If the zoo axon is actually inside the zoo, then there's no way it's going hot this time - the zoo doesn't open until 9 AM.

I just got back from the El Cajon Blvd / 11:09 axon and am sorry to say that I did not activate it. The phone is located in front of the 7-11 (as celina63 previously reported), and it does ring. I tested it with my cell phone and everything seemed fine. It rang slightly early by my clock, but I wouldn't be surprised if that was off. Answered the phone and got silence. Waited a little while more, got a quick, undecipherable blurb of sound, and then more silence. I tried saying "Apocalypso," just in case I was being asked for it but could not hear it. No such luck, though, since the axon is still cold. Hopefully I'll be able to try back again tomorrow morning.

Currently waiting to activate the Star of India 8:05AM axon. I'm also going to try the 16:21 and 17:09 axons this evening.

EDIT (8:08AM) - The phone doesn't work. No sound goes in or out. Phone rang at 8:05 just as it should, but when I picked up there was no sound on the other end (as previously reported). I tried just saying the word, but as you can see, no activation. After I hung up, I called the phone back on my cell phone, and couldn't hear myself talk on the cell phone, nor hear myself talk on the payphone (no send/receive).

So... mark this one down as dead. Good thing the codegroup is already activated.
