Apologies if this was already pointed out, but perhaps it could be important? Definitely important in the history of her lineage.
When watching the video, the text goes as followers
Quote:
Gwaschemasch'e was crushed by the unexpected death of her mother
Now HERE, the screen brightens, as if something happened to the film (overexposure??), and continues on with "the unexpected death of her mother", but the caption that appears when the screen brightens is
Quote:
circumstantial evidence suggests
and below that are several more words, but it's so bright they're hard to make out.
It's almost as if it was something they didn't want us to see, perhaps a clue as to what to look for?
Gwaschemasch'e is where we were directed to look, so I'd definitely say that's getting warmer :]

This is the best I could do.
I'm going to download the video from Vimeo and see if I can get any better shot using some video players and advancing by frames.
EDIT: Ugh, no good. The video doesn't allow downloading.. Has anyone managed to get a hold of a copy of the video??
EDIT2: As it was pointed out, it was actually a piece from the other video but as per Ad's request I'll upload it. What that frame actually is can be seen at this link as balt pointed out.

Can we lower the brightness on those photos? I have no real photo editing software on this computer, so I can't do it myself.

I did, it didn't help. It's basically unintelligible except for "circumstantial evidence suggests" and a "G" as far as I can tell.

So now that we have both keys, and both locks, what are some programs that can decode them? Someone posted a link to JRStegano, but I haven't the slighest clue how to use it.

Let's get to unlocking the new .png file. We need to have this complete before Mr. Dubrovin gets back. We've been stagnant for too long and have fallen behind. We have slack we need to pick up.

1. It's very simple to use actually, and I tried it. No dice.
2. It's in German, anyway.
3. It's very finicky about working or not (at least on my computer).
That does seem to be the only readily available steganography decoder that accepts PNGs as input, though.
Ad Arcana Tutanda, do you know anyone that might be able to help us with this (considering you do this for a living)?
