Wow, this is really interesting, and creepy! Not my usual cup of tea, but I'm intrigued to see where this goes.

Something has me puzzled, though: Is the Slender Man just a fictional character created by Something Awful (which, from what I've seen of SA, is *totally* something they'd do Rolling Eyes

), or is it an actual myth they appropriated and fictionalized?

Although.
It does remind me of.. what was it? The Montana Incident? Iowa, Indiana.. something. It had a series of really creepy videos with masks and a phone number that rang and then there was a heart monitor noise.. I know I'm rambling, but it was done by SA as well, and was actually what got me into ARGs when it leeched into an unnamed-forum/avatar-website. xD

EDIT: WYOMING. The Wyoming Incident.

So, I shot the Marble Hornet youtub account an email just telling him to take care of himself, and pointing out that the tapes seemed to make Alex lose his appetite as well, so be careful. No reply yet, but I'll post it if one shows up.

Creepy tall men? Potentially paranormal phenomenon? Thousands of tapes with two minutes of content amongst hours of useless footage? Sounds like a party.

It reminds me of the Wyoming Incident too, Leigh. Though, that was far creepier. Just hoping this one doesn't end up "for the bonerz."

So why would alex want to keep the audio off of the videos with the tall man? If he was constantly recording himself, you'd think he'd want to keep this stuff accurate and detailed.
