That\'s a pretty picture on your home page. Is it a cherry tree?

They said:

Dear Mrs. Cook,

Yes, you are right. That photo shows one of the many beautiful cherry trees that are right next to our door. Aren't they beautiful? Can I help you in any other way? Are you interested in one of our specials? We do have one that starts off tomorrow. You will travel to Berlin for the weekend. Have you ever thought about that? Please tell me if you are interested in that and I will give you a call.

If I may ask, how did you find out about us? Have you been referred to us by a friend? Or have you been directed to our website by one of our ads?

With kind regards,
Edward Thatch

Silly me, I should know not to ask about a place that doesn't exist. Wink Embarassed

Weekend in Berlin?

I just got this e-mail from Edward Thatch:

Quote:

Dear PinkCloud,

Special Offer III is one of our best offers. The costs for the flight are included. You can choose to depart at an airport near your hometown. That will be San Diego International Airport for you. Your journey will begin on Friday and you will arrive Berlin on Saturday. There you will be provided a rented car for the whole weekend. It has a build-in navigation system so that you will find your way to the hotel, which is not too far away from the airport. There you check in and have some interesting days in Berlin. On monday, you will be in the plane again and it will bring you back to your hometown. Doesn't that sound wonderful? Shall I give you a call so that we can set up things?

If I may ask, how did you find out about us? Have you been referred to us by a friend? Or have you been directed to our website by one of our ads?

With kind regards,
Edward Thatch

Anyone else got that? Any thoughts?

Got my own reply:

As for the activities:
They depend on what you are interested in. If you like to get to know more of the historical background of Berlin then you will find your way to the Brandenburg Gate or the Reichstag for example. You can even go to one of the many museums like the archeological one in the middle of Berlin. If you are more interested in the people of Berlin, then you will have the chance to get to know them better in one of the many clubs or bars at night. If you can confine your choice of activities, please, I will give you more information on them.

Are you interested in this special offer? Shall I give you a call so that we can set up things?

If I may ask, how did you find out about us? Have you been referred to us by a friend? Or have you been directed to our website by one of our ads?

Do you like skiing or snowboarding? Then we have "Special Offer II" for your. In the beautiful landscape of Lake Tahoe and its surrounding mountains you will have hours of fun in the snow. The Ski-Pass is also included in the package so all you have to do is, get there and have a great time. Relax from the stress you have at your job and take a leisure time in a white "winter"-wonderland.

So I sent a reply to Edward about getting a postcard from Parkum, he said he'll keep looking. I also told him where I'd heard about Thatch and Sons Travel, I mentioned P. Martin

Quote:
I will see what I can do for you about Parkum. It may take some time, but I will get back to you then.

As for Mr. Martin, I do remember him of course. When he referred you to our website, you must be one of the two passengers that will go to Berlin, are you? He booked our Special Offer III two times and gave us a list of people that may contact us about it. As far as I can say, you name is on the list. Do you know who might be the other person that will go for that journey?

He already payed for it. So all you have to do now is to give us your personal data for the journey (e.g. birthdate and so on). I can give you a call to set up everything, if you like.

Yours,
Edward Thatch

As most who are in chat know, Mr. P. Martin purchased two tickets for a weekend trip to Berlin, Germany. The two that are going on this little adventure are Rowan and PinkCloud. I'd like to say the Puppet Masters running this game are AWESOME! Worshippy Rock On Worshippy Rock On

Email From Edward

Dear Mrs. Kaz,

can you specify your interest in our services, please? We are currently
offering two specials. One will take you into the "winter"-wonderland of
spring which is in the beautiful landscape of Lake Tahoe and the other
one will take you into one of Europes capitol cities: Berlin.

With kind regards,

...

So I just said either one but especially the one to Berlin.
