It seems that writing to info@ will get you whoever checks it first: in my case, Baron.

#3. Hi, info@pietheory!

So this "JUMP" happens before every major disruptive technology?

At any rate, interesting story to add to the list -- skies in Europe back in
January were filled with rather dramatic beams of light shooting up into the
sky. Very beautiful, mildly suspect. Ice crystals? Really?
http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/worldnews/article-1117264/Beam-Scientists-left-baffled-mysterious-columns-coloured-light-appear-night-skies.html

Take care and let me know what (if anything) I can do to help!

Thanks for the link; this is exactly the type of awareness we need to have. Spread the word. Tell others that eyes wide open is the only way to the next JUMP.

And you may want to watch our blog Michael...we may have something special for you.

Baron

So there's a blog out there somewhere, too. I wrote back to see if they'd just tell us where it is (unless it's one of the kajillion profiles linked to on the main page).

You sent him something from the Daily Mail? You loser. Laughing

In the recruit kit, there are some logos, 2 of which include the name "Loren Lipson." Chief of Geriatric Medicine? http://www.usc.edu/schools/ihp/ot/faculty_research/faculty/LorenGLipson.html

Yesterday, they tweeted "19 South Twenty Second Street. Hello mother...can you keep them in the dark for life? - Baron" from their Twitter account. It seems to be the address of The College of Physicians of Philadelphia. I can't find any other exact matches.

I also sent an email to infoSPLATpietheory.com and recieved a link to something random. Interesting, but I doubt it's significant (though it does fit a medical theme).

Ah. Apparently the blog is in the Media Room too. Just saw the article I sent tweeted.

http://www.pietheory.com/mediaroom/feed/2009-03-20/baron/16

As for using an article from the Daily Mail: where else would I get conspiracy-esque news? I snagged it from topconspiracy's twitter account, figured I'd reuse fake conspiracies.

hmm... maybe we need to move this now?
or we all just got in touch with some super organised geeks???

i quote from the e-mail response i (drunkenly) came home to:

FYI, Van Halen is Baron's favorite band, not mine. You can address every email Van Halen blows to ensure quick response from myself, Hector Macchiato.

So let's see, I didn't see Cloverfeild because it looked like the poor mans remake of the American Godzilla movie, which was a piece of garbage in and of itself. As a former New Yorker I have to wonder why every filmmaker is so excited about blowing up my hometown. It's not post 9-11 commentary, it's lazy filmmaking. Destroy Arizona, the states fucking useless and filled with people who ratted out the mob anyway.

What were we talking about...? Oh yeah fast paced tech breakthroughs. Sure, we've had our collective heads snapped around since cell phones staring looking like tic tac containers. But I'd argue most of this has been 'innovation.' Where as if you could imagine being the first person to see a steamboat coming up the river, you'd probably would of filled your britches.

Any way, that's where I hope we're going. Something essential to human potential but completely unexpected.

As for framework, I agree in the sense that there is certainly a pattern to these breakthroughs or JUMPS as we've coined it. They're all preceded by a pattern of visitation. Check out our evidence if you haven't already.

Thanks for the response, you raised some interesting points. We're collectively trying to figure out our Forum, once that's up and working we hope to get people debating these same points.

Upwards and onwards my, half in the bag, british friend.

Oh yeah, sorry about the war of 1812. I don't know what we were thing.

Your pal,

Today i sent a video to Baron:
Quote:
This is quite interesting, and it's a recent event: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k3y7y_pyS2U
What people in London think about it? Smile

And he replied:
Quote:
Hey brother J,

Interesting for sure but fake as rubber shit hanging from a plastic hole. Looks like police lights in the sky. Total tosser footage! These fuck sticks need to swizzle the drizzle a little harder. This is NOT part of the JUMP!

Baron

2*5-*%&-8280

See those numbers? They weren't there in previous emails. What the heck do they mean? Looks like some sort of Math.

Answer was interesting

The quote is from a talking heads song only it's same as it ever was, and groo that I could find was:

From Baron, about 2*5-*%&-8280:

Quote:
Ask for the owner. Tell him you are from PIE and say you want to talk about the lights in the sky.

**UPDATE**
A friend called 285-857-8280, and got a "could not complete" message.

It seems that 285 isn't a valid area code. This is all awfully elaborate if they're just jerking us around...

I dialed 1-285-857-8280 and got a 'Please dial a one and the area code.'
Which was weird.
