no stealing PRUVODEREHAVIGO codes that rightfully belong to other countries, please . (I am sorry that I feel the need to write that last sentence, but y'know.)
Also, the PRUVO code could unlock some country based promotion (free Mcdonald's meal maybe ?) so lying about your country may not be a good move.

I'm in the US and I took it this morning from the popup on www.findthelostring.com - so I don't know why danteIL's didn't work.
Always say you are 18, but don't lie about your country - I think the questions may be specialized (specific fast food locations). And the final code may also be. Probably just going to be a special message and maybe a coupon.

yup, worked for me, Canadian survey. I love this question:
Quote:
Which of the following activities related to The Lost Ring did you perform, if any? (check all that apply)
-Saw an online advertisement about the game
-Read a blog post or news article about the game
-Viewed a video trailer for the game
-Visited TheLostRing.com
-Visited the blog of a character in the game
-Listened to a podcast related to the game
-Viewed a player forum about the game
-Posted on a player forum about the game
-Viewed a wiki about the game
-Edited a wiki about the game
-Translated game-related content into another language
-Completed the Strength Quiz for the game
-Performed a task related to your Strength
-Participated in the Lost Sport (i.e. labyrinth running)
-Communicated directly with a character in the game through email, online chat, or face-to-face
-Uploaded multimedia content related to the game (e.g. photos, audio, video)
-None of the Above
Had to check'em all well, except the last one...
Then there's the question about whether you think anyone other than McDonalds could have provided the same experience... heh .. um...
To be fair, it would help if we knew exactly what it was McDonalds did in the game, or if it was just funding... if the latter, then most definitely, and if the former, almost certainly
Also, I think everyone has the same code... or at least by region... (my first 4 chars are 7pvm , in Canada, ftr)
And I'm with kona - it's likely a promotion/coupon or something; the puter already sends PDFs for download, so it's the perfect tool already in place =)
Maybe it'll be a final message from the team akin to Melissa's Goodbye recording

If there are any others like me who are having trouble accessing the survey through the FTLR sites, I noticed that our friend and coach EdwinM added a link to the survey to his YouTube profile .

It worked for me!

% When I did mine I saw a bar with "93% Done".
I think they estimate the number of active players and
want that just then aswer.

I wonder why you have to be 18? I thought McDonald's is all about the CHILDREN. First, feed them McDonald's "food" and then take care of them in a Ronald McDonald House. Oh snap.

heh. If it IS, it will unfortunately fail (for me, anyway). I'm nowhere NEAR as invested in this story as I was in ILB.
And I'm sorry, but Alex is definitely no Melissa/Sleeping Princess

Ronald McDonald House took care of my family 2 weeks when my brother was in hospital out of state due to an accident as a 23 year old But anyway, I think McDonald's had a marketing target for this "promotional game" and 18 must be part of how they defined that target. They just want to know how the game influenced the target.
Also I thought the "desired number of completions" bit was just an effort not getting feedback from the same person repeatedly. My code starts j9hv.

Well, when it did that to me before, I never even had the chance to give feedback, so...
But I've completed it now, and my code is:

Just for comparison. USA here and my "redemption" code starts with 8cs6.
I'm sure this will be a coupon and the unique codes and IP recognition probably has to do with limiting the number of free food coupons they are going to give out? What else would they reward us with?
I'd love one of those RINGs but those are huge and probably not going to be given away. And if they did, there are much more deserving people who should get one of them.
If it is a free food coupon, I'll just add it to the ARG Museum along side my SaveMyHusband $4.19 check that I never cashed.

Nope, my first 4 characters are r7ic, and I'm in Canada...though I guess our American friends have already established that different people in the same region still have different codes.
