We know the date and the city. But what about the location and the time?

The Watcher will give us more clues over the next week. We'll likely get another Q&A, too.

Hmm. Well that was all sort of, anticlimactic.

So some stuff that wasn't mentioned here yet.

The back of the journal entry was signed "J". The beginning of the journal talks about Richard Moore, which is John's fathers name. So I don't think "J" is for John. Unless John didn't know who his father was.

Whoever it was had some dream about some Sky Inc. people chasing him out a window and he woke up before he hit the ground. He even drew us a nice little picture with some cryptic notes. I take it that the building he jumped from is shown in the pic as well as the symbol on the guards uniforms (Sky Inc. logo). Not sure what to make of the other weird symbol as it does not seem to be mentioned in the journal. What's with the case numbers? Why is it mentioned in the journal.

Also, icecrimp could you tell us if there is like a sticky note on top of the picture or something. Cause it looks that way. And the very top of the picture is cut off. We can't see the case # at the very top. If you can get some better scans that would be great. No biggie if you can't, though.

Yep, for the picture, that was a sticky note on the top right. It's labeled Case 4, and it had that symbol on it that mirrored the one on the picture itself to the left. In addition, Case 5 on the lower right is another sticky. I figure I'd save you from having to look at more files and just scan them together. Sorry for the confusion!

Edit: That symbol shows up yet another time as well. I made note of it, but in case it was missed, it's also on the backside of the sticky with the note from 13.

Edit2: Or at least, I thought I made a note of it. The image notes didn't update, I suppose.

Okay, just to be sure was there anything else? Anything written on the back of the picture?

So we have case #s 4, 5 and 6 and a note saying:

Quote:
Case #s
Dream
Too frequent to be unimportant?

I've tried plugging /case6 and /case#6 to the end of urls but got nothing.

So let me get this straight: they are providing semi-complex puzzles that require an extensive amount of manual labor... to give us information we have from other places anyway?

If I'm gonna put that amount of work in to it, I'd somehow like it to be for a purpose. Rolling Eyes

I'd bet it was just simple miscommunication.
That can happen when you're working in diverse locations.

13lights.org has been updated:
Spoiler (Rollover to View):

"flRIRVdBVENIRVI" = Base64 = "~THEWATCHER"

So, I guess our next drop will be 8/23 instead of 8/24?

Huh... Um...

Keep in mind that if "John" is in our world, he *doesn't* necessarily know who his father is - which might mean that Dr. Moore is somehow here as well.

We should ask who else from John's primary world is on our one.

You all did a nice puzzle solving with the actual 13.lights.org page.

But it seems because of all the hidden information you missed the head line of the page:

DATABASE TIMING ERROR: COMPENSATE -1 DAY

Vapor picked that up, actually Wink

So, icerimp, can you give us a little more detail on the meet? Did the dude just hand over the package, say "ta ta!" and take off?

icerimp talked a bit about this in chat yesterday. Apparently there were some OOG moments... the guy had a hard time finding the park (traveled from downstate), and was about an hour late. I gathered there wasn't much discussion of character or game, but I'm definitely curious about what exactly was said.
