I'm suffering the ill effects of too much booze at the moment but I had a great time last night, thanks everyone who came - it was nice to talk about some out our favourite (and least favourite) bits from the whole ARG as well.

So nice in fact, I'd like to suggest that everyone posts what they were most happy with or what they thought was the most well done thing in the whole ARG.

I think my favourite thing was Jacques and the kloos we got in the nice presents he gave us Smile

Just dragged myself into work but rather dehydrated post...

In attendance: myself, batgirl, Faustus, Amadeus, AndyAndyO, Chelec and Naomi Alderman.

Photo to follow this evening.

Best bits of WTS (for me): having to do physical things such as go to St Pancras, go to the pub, go to Penguin (not that I did any of them, but that's what an ARG should be about!).

Something to work on: the story seemed a little chaotic - the card game seemed to get forgotten and elements such as the Mayan Twins being thrown in didn't seem to make much sense. Then again, real life is chaotic!

It was good meeting you all last night - and thanks for the present!

For those who are interested in playing something quick, I got notification that the livegamesnetwork is starting another game on Monday. They normally take 2 weeks or so, with a series of tasks to complete using on online interface. I've played the games a few times before and enjoyed it. (http://www.livegamesnetwork.com/) You can also replay one of their previous games to get an idea of what it is like.

Well, might be something to do with my obsessive nature but I loved the endless theorising and the communal aspect of the game. Thinking back I must have had twenty or so theories, but the only one I can now remember is about the hammer Laughing

which was the one that turned out right! Can't remember the other 19 rubbish theories!

Curiously enough I had a couple of hours free this morning before I got the train home from London so I did a similar thing of looking at some old ground. Popped by the British Museum and found the mirror. Apparently it's an Aztec cult object from roughly the same part of the world as the Mayan civilisation many years earlier. It's a tenuous link but I'm happy to give them the benefit of the doubt on that one.

I also finally got to do the St Pancras thing and I'm pleased to tell you that the number still works. It's also very eerie and very enjoyable. Very Happy
