The Patch Part II I don't think e need to start speculating that an American unit was attacking another American unit. The person wearing the patch more than likely served with the division prior to the attacks or a friend or relative did.
His long hair kinda rules out him being in the military in the post attack period.

Don't forget that in an episode of Jericho, there was that band of people that imitated that group of army people. They brought the tank to Jericho. So it is entirely possible these people "took" the clothing from someone.
It could also be possible that the uniforms were found in an old salvation army type store.

Re: The Patch on the NA's Shoulder in Ambush Video
I agree that it's close - but the patch from the video appears to have a vertical line going downwards in the bottom., plus a lighter background in teh hourglass. Could be a twist on that patch, though. Hum. Interesting to muse on though.

7th ID That would make sense the 7th ID was located in Colorado Springs prior to the attacks and would be in the ASA's grasp of military units. They are a mix of National Guard/Regular Army and Reservists. As such they are spread out across the region. They would have those patches on any gear they had. Needless to say in defending your family and home creating a new unit symbol would be the least of your concerns.

3rd ACR In reference to an earlier post "3 ACR" Is a reference to the 3rd Armored Cavalry Regiment. A Tank Heavy unit with every piece of armor in the US inventory. They were until recently stationed in Colorado Springs as well and would be able to operate in the region. They would be operating with the 7th ID if Carson sided with the Western Government.

Duncan- are you actually getting something from the site now? I still get the post impact filter 404-ish screen. Which reminds me- how am I getting an IE error screen using Firefox? There has to be something there.

I forgot it'd been discussed... I do wonder though if Duncan found something else there.
