Hmm, I wonder if the game is back on, or if it's just nothing.

anyone know the timeline of Gordon yet?
Whether he becomes Comissioner in DK or the next one?
My guess is the next one.
In the trailer, Joker says "Good evening...Comissioner". I took that to be a hint that at some point in this movie, Gordon will become comissioner, but as i think about it, it could just be foreshadowing, a mind game from joker, or he could have even been talking to someone else.

That's interesting.
I hadn't thought about that yet.
He could simply be referring the Comissioner before Gordon.
But it is the "joker" so who really knows if he's just joking around or if they are foreshadowing for the distant future.

Finally some confirmation that Two-Face is IN the movie:
At last, Aaron Eckhart has stopped teasing fans and openly confessed that his character, Harvey Dent, will become the famous Batman villain Two-Face in The Dark Knight. In an interview with Wizard Universe, Eckhart reveals some long-held secrets about how he will play the schizophrenic rogue.
"Harvey Dent turns into Harvey Two-Face in this movie." Eckhart says in the interview, finally laying the question to rest. He goes on to say that he has filmed scenes in the make-up of Two-Face:
I have done scenes as Harvey Two-Face. It's interesting. I won't tell you exactly what we're going for, but I think that I can say that it will use all of today's technology to create this character. He's going to be interesting, and I think that's what makes this character important in the movie-you get to see him as he was before, as in the comic books. Harvey is a very good guy in the comic books. He's judicious. He cares. He's passionate about what he loves and then he turns into this character. So you will see that in this film.
Asked about playing the role, Eckhart had a lot to say about playing the District Attorney turned crime boss. "I believe that it's stronger if you have a heart," Eckhart says. "If you can relate to a character who's a villain, or not, it's always better. If I can help you to relate to my character, then I think that I'm more likely to keep your attention." He goes on to say "It's interesting to show that there are reasons for his behavior. It depends on which [of Harvey's personalities] you think is more attractive and exciting. Obviously a guy who goes out and murders people, that's vigilante justice. It's probably more cinematically exciting, but I think that knowing why he got there and that he was a cool dude before is important, as well."
Eckhart also describes the responsibility of being in a film about such an iconic character as Batman. "The responsibility of being in "Batman" is pretty big!" Eckhart exclaims. "The daunting thing really is working with Gary Oldman and Michael Caine. Not so much daunting as much as pretty big for me because I love to act. I respect actors. I respect those actors in particular, but ...how many lives has Batman touched? That is daunting. "

Awesome, thanks Dalphx.
I look foreward to seeing the Dent/Two-face transition!
