Yeah, just take pics of yourself doing something for the environment. I'm having trouble because I don't own a camera.

I don't know. I'm sure they won't throw you to the ARU if you can't post new pics.

Here are a few observations about the map, just stuff I've noticed:

-Hint of major highway in the down left corner
-Maps are usually aligned with magnetic north (despite the lack of a legend)
-Grid system suggests city/town but it isn't strictly square blocks (maybe an older section of a city or an outlying city)

I could be wrong but it seems like it's on the harbor other then that I just can't see anything that is workable on the map.

Wow, that's a good idea. I didn't think about that. I think you're right. I'll start looking at harbors now.

I believe the road on the far right side of the picture is an interstate highway.
Edit: Or possibly a highway in general.

Double edit: I was wrong on the harbor idea I think it's a lake.

Okay, still near a body of water though. A marina.

Now, something has been bugging me: we have to consider the possibility that the location isn't in the San Francisco area. I've done some looking and I haven't found anything that completely matches the map.

I have, however, found something that looks close, and I want to see what everyone else thinks. The address is: 3950 Scott Street, San Francisco, CA, 94123. It looks similar, but it may not be. Put it into GE and see what you think.

If it isn't, then we'll have to be prepared to move on to another location.

Even if we do find the location what is the significance of the location?

Honestly, I don't know. It's just bugging me that the pic was on ARU's website and we don't know what it is. You're right, it could be nothing. But the fact that there are blacked out words on it means that there's something that the ARU didn't want anyone else knowing. I'd really, really like to find what that something is.

However, if it isn't in San Francisco, chances are that it's somewhere else in the world, which wouldn't benefit us to search. I guess that it's just one of those things that we don't have enough information to go off of and we'll just have to wait. The main thing is to get everyone on the Gaia Force group and wait for Cameron to give us instructions. Is everyone on the Flikr group, btw?

(edit: I've tried looking for the location in San Francisco and I haven't been able to come up with anything that matches, so I'm ready to give up on that aspect.)
