Is this a new Matrix ARG !?!?! (just found in matrixfans...) http://www.z10n0101.com/zion.html
This is a flash. There will be anŽautomatic loginŽ screen. After that, it will apear a unix like comand line. There are some commands, similar to unix, there. I canŽt do anything.
Perhaps, you guys would be interested...

I typed in help and got:
"Lucky for you, I fell nice today.
Available commands: help, uptime, pwd, echo (text), ls (-a -la), cat (file)"
"$ uptime
19:59 up 99y364d, 1 user, load average 0.00, 0.00, 0.00"
I have no idea what it means. I'll let someone else figure it out.
Also found http://www.z10n0101.com/zion.swf in the source.

thread at MFN
My brilliant contribution: It's registered to a dude in Florida.
Amusingly enough, z10n0101.net is registered to someone at something called MetaCharacters. Well, I found it amusing, anyway...
Mod, do you know how this was found? Thread just starts with, "Hey, here's a website thingie..."

There is also the wonderful #matrix, where we should gather now

Heh, interesting the use of "ARG" in the flash code. Not that I would decompile it or anything like that.....

Time of day in the uptime command seems dependent on local time, but the rest appears static.
Description
Filesize
41.09KB
Viewed
125 Time(s)

So, this is what I am able to gather based on all of my Unix knowledge, which amounts to like a couple pages I read today, lol: there are 2 directories by "shell", in which there are supposed to be some files that we can read and execute, (as opposed to the stuff inside /home/user/, where we can only read) - but there is no way to tell where they (the directories) are. Especially given that /home is not really a directory anyway. Wah...

Only God knowS ! You know how much people there loves Matrix, so it is really a matter of time before they find anything !
Well, search and post for the old Metacortechs thread. I will do the same NOW ! We need to warn people, and get some confirmation. News there spread like fire !

Well, if he hadn't fallen nicely, he might have gotten a concussion and would not have been able to write that help message. Makes perfect sense to me.
(although his grasp of adverbs could use some improvement)
Also, the implication that he falls on a daily basis is rather troubling. Are we dealing with some sort of narcoleptic here? This could get interesting.

It's not the only typo (if "fell" is a typo). In the intro flash, "reseting" looks like it's misspelled as well. But a guy on matrixfans found where the stuff that's in the intro came from, which is this (that's when Trinity is at the power plant in M2):
and "reseting" is spelled the same way there. Not sure if this a coincidental typo, or freakish attention to detail.
Anyway, it looks like "zion" is a directory as well, in which any subdirectory also works. Can somebody see when zion.html (not the site itself) was uploaded?

zion.html, as best as I can tell, is not an html file at all, but a php script. The server isn't returning a modified date, but is returning a PHP version header that the swf isn't returning.
zion.swf has this header:
Code:

Brian, so good to see you! You were sorely missed last night.
So, the site was created on the 22nd of May, and that flash - on the 23rd (that's a week after Reloaded came out);so it's just been sitting there for all this time? Google hasn't even heard of this site, nor does the index page (or whatever it should be called) have any keywords, so it's not like the guy wanted it to be found. Wah, somehow to me that means this probably isn't a game
The only other piece of information I'm able to squeeze out of there is: 100 (years), 01 (Jan.) 01 00:01 - so it's 01.01.00.01 or something, which almost looks like an IP address, but isn't...

It's refreshing to be back after a little hiatus. It looks like my timing is well enough that I'll be around for the start of "the next big ARG." Let us hope that is soon!

The guy who owns the site, according to the whois record (epadgett), looks like some random guy using a Road Runner as his cablemodem ISP. Has anyone thought to contact him?
