 		LMAO, Ursa....!

I *am* disappointed that once again Volvo ended with an amibguous puzzle. In my perfect world, the puzzlemasters know what makes a good hunt and are adept enough to make the final challenge quite clear as to what is correct. And what I mean by all that is that if there is solid evidence to support multiple answers in a puzzle, it is not well crafted.

This final sequence was not a puzzle of skill, with all the variables and no "control" evidence, it became a guessing game--in my opinion. You might as well just have a regular sweepstakes and send in a 3x5 card.

However, not ALL the puzzles were disappointing, and I rather enjoyed the community of playing them with y'all. Wonderful to touch base with old "faces" and rack our brains once again. It was worth the time spent.

 		I am a bit disapointed too by this last puzzle too.
It seems as badly designed as the one we had last year. The missing bit in the puzzle was really impardonable!!! Evil or Very Mad
I was still scratching my head on this #%$&@ missing triangle for more than one hour while everybody else had entered their solution within 15min Crying or Very sad

A guy from Thailand got the call and was disgualified because he was a legal resident not a citizen of Thailand......

Can you imagine getting the call and be disqualified for that....!

different answer
My answer was a bit different from everyone else's. In fact, I actually came up with my answer two days before the puzzle came out.

I guess it all started when I was trying to figure out what time puzzle 21 opened. This, in turn, got me wondering where the international date line was. Amazingly, enough, Volvo has us sitting right on it. Then I started thinking about the movie... Remember when they went through world's end to get to Jack? And when they found him he was on an island filled with crabs... Well, I'm a biologist. And, I have heard about an island that is invaded by crabs every Christmas. It's called Christmas Island. And, it happens to be very close to World's End. So, needless to say those were the coordinates I put in.

I won't lie...I thought my answer was brilliant! In fact, I still think it's brilliant...But unfortunately, I have not received a call from Volvo. I joined this hunt because I wanted to be challenged. The last puzzle ended up being a big let down because it was just seeing who could read eight numbers off and type them in the fastest.

Personally, I think my take on the final answer was a lot more interesting and challenging than Volvo's question.

 		Could it have been right?
One man said that he entered his 8 digit map code - and as soon as I read it, I felt stupid for not thinking of it myself. Is there any sight where the correct answer is listed by Volvo?

I'm afraid that you're all missing the point of the puzzle - not when, or where the objects went over the falls but rather where they finished up. Look at your map. The answers so far given are wrong!

 		Sensible one we know the answers we've given are wrong because Volvo didn't call. If you have some solution that we don't have what's the point in you coming in here and saying we are wrong, the contest is over. If you have a solution please explain it.

Was there a final answer given last year? I mean did they send an e-mail with results or just added an end page in the game? My answer was 0000 and 0000. Sounds silly, but it's on water, maybe no one else would think of it that quick, and it would be a cute solution.

I've solved a lot of puzzles looking for the trick question, without any logic at all. Of course, Volvo hasn't called me either.Good Luck!

Sab,
None of you can believe that it was simply translating objects going over the edge surely - it incorporated the treasure map.
Face the dragon (lightning) and align the two lamps (3 and 4) with the numbers on the chart (where they went over helps you do this). All other things are just "objects" The bouy is the line 2 without another number at the end.
The sequence of the objects going over is important. Some objects go over in the same place (eg. bottle and jug).
Work the rest out yourselves.

For some reason, I don't think the lack of a phone call is due to more than one person submitting that solution, but I didn't get a call either so, what do I know...
