When Von got back to his office one day, he found a message from Garnet. He took one look at the message, glanced at the clock and hurried out of the door. What did the message say?

Ilja and Anja passed through the reeds of the swamp, hand in hand, searching for a home and a family. One day, they discovered they had become terribly lost among the reeds and were unable to return to the dryer lands from which they had come. The swamp was dank and teeming with eels and biting insects, and the children suffered mightily.
They soon discovered a sparkle beneath the muddy waters, and Anja bent to retrieve a precious gemstone. 'Its of no use to us', said Ilja. We can neither eat it nor will it keep us warm and dry.' but Anja slipped it into her pocket, for she knew it might someday be useful.
Not long after, the children came upon a frog-catcher in her shallow boat. The frog-catcher was cursing the heavens and pushing aside the reeds, as though she had lost something of great significance to her. Ilja rightly presumed that the frog-catcher had lost the precious gemstone that Anja carried in her pocket

Nope... I found a difficulty with 1 character, but other than that it was pretty straight forward.
It's not a traditional code... kind of fun when you work it out.

You'd also have trouble if you had:
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
a (supposedly) more efficient decoder
or, to be more explicit:
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
a Dvorak "decoder"

Your first 8 characters are correct, the next character is a number then the next 2 are correct. You should then have 2 more letters and 2 numbers.
There are no spaces in the answer you enter.

Almost there, but I've got one last hurdle; I'm just worried it'll trip me up at the end: the syntax!
I know the message is
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
"meet me Tue 1PM Rm 13", or meet me Tuesday, 1PM, Room 13
but I'll be damned if I don't know that I'll get a comma or dot or something out of place, missing, or extra.
Should I just type it in as given?
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
"meet me 1pm rm 13"
Should I elaborate?
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
"Meet me, 1PM, Rm. 13"
I don't even have the card, but what would I do?

You just type in the letters, no spaces and no punctuation.

A Little Meta? Meta or just some more stuff?
Left side of card, Von has a ticket and a receipt for that ticket.
Can't make out what most of the words are, but his seat appears to be (section?) 1 - (Row?/Box?) J - (seat?) 3.
Date: 22/07/??? (see below) at 18:00.
The year interests me. It looks to me to be /93, but in Perplex City years, but that would be more than 30 years from now. The other thought I had was it could be /08, indicating a real live-event in the game next year...
Oh, and the tickets cost 3:00.
I'm not sure how this relates to anything yet, but it seems like an awful lot of trouble for MC to go through without any point.

It's definitely an Odeon cinema ticket (don't ask me how I know). If I had to guess, MC took a photo of a couple, blurred the details a bit, and stuck them on for flavour.
By the way, it'd be screen 1 of a multiplex, and row J of the screen. I'll look at the date anyway when I get home, but I don't expect anything interesting.

It looks to me like the date on the ticket is 22/02/03 (a Saturday) or MAYBE 05 (a Tuesday). I'd say the "02" part has more of a curve than a 7 should.
Although I didn't research it too much, I couldn't find much of note for either date.
PS My first post. Hopefully it helped spark something in someone or maybe quell a snipe hunt.

I thought this card was fantastic and spent ages with a friend solving it.
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
The keyboard on the card and shapes of letters is a good hint...
