To my (admittedly slightly dodgy) memory Trafalgar Square doesn't really have anything similar that's fixed (and definitely not where google earth points to). One thing it does have is reasonably frequent buses with those kinds of displays on which would be immensely cool but mildly unworkable given how tfl is so punctual and all. At the end of the day, if I were going to do that I'd pick somewhere else in London as there are quite a few places (eg Picadilly Circus) with those screens.

On a separate note, many posts have asked it and only three days before, I'll try again: anyone in London want to meet up? Any plans been made yet? Personally I'm not incredibly familiar with the area and usually end up sitting on the fountains waiting for people but that might be a bit wet this time.

 		Check the wiki. Otherwise, show up there and look for people who look like they know something is going to happen. With cameras and/or phones. Even laptops. Take pictures. Phone it in. Live reports are way cool.
