Ah, I see - there wasn't anything happening just now, candy-wise, as far as I could tell. The place didn't look open but they were setting up lights outside. I'll stop by after 5 and see what's going on. I can't see how it could be more unappealing - ESPN fake football whatsit? I've never liked football, I can't imagine how imaginary football can be appealing, but whatever...

There is a slight problem, being that there are two almost identical companies called Forbidden Planet in the UK. One is International, and one isn't.
http://www.forbiddenplanet.co.uk/ has more stores in the UK, but is a different company to the one posted by Strings. Manchester has an International store, (Bizarre that the international one is .co.uk don't you think?)
I shall try the International store tomorrow Smile

i wouldhave thought it was the international one,its more established and has more stores

here's their store locator

Feel free to slate me if it has but I haven't seen this mentioned in relation to which version of Forbidden Planet it is.

The Strings version (http://www.forbiddenplanet.com/WhereWeAre.shtml) mentions that the Dartford store wont have any Apollo bars. Seems to clear things up.

Wow, do I have lots to cover in this post. Pay attention now, and no talking at the back. Firstly, I've had a couple of emails asking which Forbidden Planet stores you need to head to for chocolatey goodness. Gracias to the Partyman for emailing me - the ones you're after are these.

Remember, they'll start being handed out tomorrow, but you'll need to say the code, so don't forget to keep checking the Apollo candy site. Wonder what Rachel's up to this time?

apollo candy in bristol

The forbidden planet in Bristol has LOADS left!

Having peeked in the special, secret fridge I think there must be about 500 chocolate bars there.

I've been every day & still no golden oracle bar but you'll be the first to know!
