I KNEW I saw it move! But then I accidentally closed my browser and I thought I was imagining things.

Not onlyt that, if you mouseover the snake you reveal hidden text! Whee!

Also on the signup page - if you look at the drop down list, there are a few non standard State abreviations...

AS, FM, GU, MH, MP, PW, PR, VI,- and *D'OH* *not* WI, thanks Delusional
some may be US colonies (Puerto Rico, for instance is PR), and I haven't the time at the moment to check if the states are listed in alphabetical order by full name, since they are not in order by alphabetical initials.

edited because my brain has stopped working

btw - this is what I have for the Mary Queen of Scots cipher. Unless my book is wrong (and if it is please tell me so I know), I don't think this is what we are looking for.

Actually, those are all valid abbreviations. The wierd ones are from US possessions and territories. I think they just pulled the list straight from http://www.usps.com/ncsc/lookups/abbr_state.txt

While I have not double checked it, I think its correct for the most part.

That first page is a work of art, yo.

Also, how creepy is that I've been to Hachita, NM (at least rolled through it). Never heard of them talking backwards, however. *slow blink*

*signs up*

Edited to Add: I've been staring at that bloody snake for 20 someodd min (and then left the window open and untouched for near an hour) and it hasn't moved a tic. Is there something wrong with my comp? *sobs* *wants to see the snake move, damnit*

It just rotates a few degrees, clockwise, when you first pull up the page.

Nos, I think it may be browser specific. Works in IE, but not in Opera. In IE it moves from the head being near the top of the circle (as if lying on it's back) to the head being near the botom of the circle, and it does the move when you first open the page. If you are using Firefox/Mozilla, you might want to open the page in IE just once. Wink

Yes, mine got caught in the spam filter, lucky I have them go to a folder I can check before they get trashed, so be sure you add the domain to your safe list.

If you count each word as a number from 1-179 and use the first letter of each word, you get:

ARE YOU SHOCKED BY THIS REVELATION DO YOU WANT TO SAVE YOURSELF FROM THE INEVITABLE ITS NOT ENOUGH TO SHAKE UP YOUR OWN LIFE THE ERASERS MUST BE DES S (T)ROYED BEFORE ANY OF US ARE FREE AND NO ONE PERSON CAN STOP THEM WE ARE THE CYPHERS AND WE J (W)ILL SHAKE UP THE WORLD JOIN US AND TOGETHER WE WILL STOP THE ERASERS FROM CREATING THEIR FEATURELESS WORLD The strikes were the letters I got, but the ones in the I substituted make more sense.
