[UPDATE] Simonsumiera input box

Well, there's been some movement on the daemonworks front.

There is now a text box to enter stuff on simonsumeria. Looks like we won't have to go to door_to.php now.

Well, besides the new input box, I can't find anything new. Both sites say they have been updated in the past few days, but I'm at a loss for what could be new at daemon. I checked all the current game pages - if there was an update it must be to an Indunn game page or an archive page that I don't know about. Even checked my email and nothing there.

We obviously must be missing something obvious if we haven't gotten any more solid leads. Usually by now there is a hint as to what we could be missing, but I haven't seen anything since the accoutrements clue. It's driving me nuts.

Oh, and one odd thing at ss.info - the text box at idea.php actually points to will.php. Dunno why unless it's a typo.

Whee!! Another update! (okay, maybe I just missed it before since the text box on idea.php kept taking me to will.php - that has been fixed Very Happy )

Anyways, we now have a puzzle - something of a crossword it looks like. Title of the pic is ROT-22 "tiles"

For me, the simonsumeria text boxes (all three) just reloads the same page. Only it adds ?keyword=(what you enter)&submit=submit to webpage. other than that, it's as if I just clicked the reload button.
good find with the puzzle, though. but how did you find it?
I tried ROT-ing the block of letters at the bottom many different ways (all horizontal, all vertical, grenn horizontal, green vertical) but found nothing.

If you don't get the correct keyword, then the page will just reload. However, if you try the keywords "crown" or "accoutrements" then you'll get something different.

As to how we found that particular puzzle: We've known about the accoutrements pages for a while. Vis sent me an email talking about dictionaries. Entering dictionary at the door_to.php page on the main daemonworks site took us to a dictionary.com page talking about accoutrements - from there it was just entering the keyword (plural instead of singular that I had done before). Then it was just a matter of checking the page again after seeing the site had been updated (try entering "crown" on the energy page to see the latest update time).
