[OFF TOPIC] Semacode reader for PC?

Sorry to post this here but this seems to be the only forum on the whole of Unfiction where anyone's mentioned semacode. I'm wondering if anyone's aware of any windows-based software for reading semacodes. I know there's linux-based server software over at http://www.semacode.org (and, incidentally, they've included a scan of The Postcard in their blog too) but ideally I'd like something I can use on the win-based boxen at work. My C++ is way too weak after 5 years of atrophy to try to port their source Sad

Just figured this might come in useful around here....

Theres no semacode reader, but search for a DataMatrix 2D Barcode reader for windows that works off images....same thing in basic concept Smile

[edit]

Just found this, not tested it

http://www.intelcom.ru/download/decode/decode.zip

Gonna try it now, just needs BMP files to decode

[edit 2]

Works VERY well Smile

Hey, great find! If ever semacode pops up in future puzzles we definitely got it covered.

That's fantastic - cheers mate!

Just a quick note for anyone else using this - don't crop your image too closely or it won't be able to read it. It is remarkably fault-tolerant though (has no probs reading the image even if you leave part of the 2210 and the long number on the source file).

Now me and my camera can play the semacode game too!

Thanks. Zxing is also available. Remarkably, it is free. Very Happy
