I'm new too, and a sort of ARG virgin.. Been reading up on the forums like crazy, looking for where to start from. I have a Masters project which involves PMing an ARG myself using some AR (Augmented Reality) tricks. Any thoughts on that?

My name's Trauma Tap, I'm also Trauma Tap on the Within Hubris forums and I've been following the whole Slender Man mythos since August, the last month or so actively playing the games.

I also created a Slenderman/BEN vlog, but it was horrible and I stopped. However, I am in the process of creating my next game, which will be a Slendyblog.

I've been vaguely aware of ARGs for awhile, thanks to being around some friends who participated in the Jejune institute and being involved a bit with the viral marketing for The Dark Knight. But running into a Message from Z poster in SF recently got me really investigating ARGs and, well, here I am.

I'm just gonna put myself out there, see what happens, and try to roll with it.

i am deazra and i stumbled across ARGs and this forum when randomly searching for things to keep my mind busy with, while in new york for the next three months. comin from a very strong rpg/larp background i am really intrigued by ARGs and pretty sure i'll like this community - although i am a bit sceptic, seeing how inactive some parts of the forums (and the chats) seem. well - i guess we'll see.

for ny i decided to start my own ARG to keep my friends, colleagues,family and maybe some new peops busy and derive from your standard "i am on vacation" blog, picture and video stuff and am looki... oh wait - that's what the recruitment section is for, right?

I'm going to be quite frank about this, because that is my mindset at the moment, my wife has recently left me. Instead of wallowing I have decided to indulge in all the activities that I have long wanted to, but not had the time (or been allowed!) to do. I heard about ARGs a while ago and was intrigued. Now I'm going to see exactly what it is all about and get stuck in.

Hello there.

I found this forum earlier in the week, after hearing something on The Wyoming Incident and searching for information on it. (That was creepy stuff, wasn't it!) Obviously most of the discussion was on Unfiction, and that got me looking into ARG-ing in general, and I decided I wanted in!

I love mysteries and brain-games although they tend to be quite solitary activities, so the idea of being able to solve puzzles as a group effort sounds great to me.

I'm now eager to get stuck in to my first game, is it News & Rumours I need to be following for info on new ones?
