Drum
Hi captain12fingers
As nobody has solved this yet then I see no reason why your drum should not be the one that is in synch with the huntsetters' rhythm! I must confess that I have no idea what you are talking about with respect to Mulligan's card, but if it has tickled you then good for you - the hunt should be as much about the fun that you have along the way as it is about claiming the prize.
Happy Hunting

Re: Creators location in brooklyn
Still trying to find that post

I have found a clue that captain gives off about the location of the 'Makers' and have a feeling that the closed Hands are important when he prays.
I recall someone saying in the thread somewhere that they found the address of the makers of this puzzle. I am currious if it is in Flushing area (or is that in brookln even)
I think if the address of the perps can be found, we can see if it falls into an odd coincidence concerning disatances X so many times from them. It makkes sense that somehow these guys can see from where they live, the treasure and if it has been found?. if it does, we should discuss.
Do you know where they live in brooklyn, or where the nearest parkk is? From there I think I can link the bus ride to that spot, maybe.
So far, lost dome money trying to find this and discovered how hard this really is! |
Hi Looking Glass, I know a lot of the clues may lead to Flushing, but if you read these posts you will see that people (including myself) have already been there. It is not in Flushing. There were 2 Worlds Fairs in Flushing. Most of the structure foundations from the hundreds of buildings are still in the ground. You will be just digging out these structures. I know because I have a huge folder with notes on all this.
After doing this puzzle for 14 months I will tell you that you have to know the spot that the treasure is in. It is clearly stated that you will know where the spot is once you figured out all the clues given.
And please people have all ready dug into the puppeteers lives on here and it is not nessesary in order to find the treasure. They wanted to remain unanimous for a reason. I am sure the chest is being monitored but, to dig into someone's life is not necessary. You just have to figure out the clues given in the videos and that is it.

Hi All
I'm new here, just waiting to be validated.
It will be a shame if such a great hunt as WLOG is left to fizzle out. In my opinion it has been brilliantly crafted, both from an aesthetic and a technical perspective. I'm not sure why there is so little interest in this hunt - perhaps there is, but all the serious hunters are lurking?
I'm guessing that there is at least one person reading this post who is well ahead of the solutions posted here. I'd say that I'm a little way ahead, at least I have seen the tantalising glimmer of an underlying structure. I don't say this to brag, more to encourage the "Roger Bannister" effect. Before Bannister ran the four minute mile, everyone assumed it was impossible, so didn't do it. Once he'd demonstrated that it could be done, everyone was at it!
Any Roger Bannisters like to step forward?
For example, I *think* that if you look carefully at the source of what Mullligan's playing card is pointing you to, you'll find a single digit in it. (The digit isn't part of the hunt, it just happens to be there, and might not be obvious at first.) Anyone else got that digit?
Happy Hunting!

Hi Rick and welcome aboard. I think there is still an interest in this hunt judging by all the lurkers looking at all the posts the past 3 weeks.
I think people are just not getting it. As you can see by several of my posts I am marching to a different drummer then just about everyone on here. I have found clear path(s) and I am still trying to work out a a few 'clues'. I did this by taking a long break and looking at things differently and changing what I was doing in the past. So so far I believe I am getting it.
As for Mulligan's cars the 'T & A' I'm pretty sure i t is not a clue. I have to say I never noticed that before but, think it is funny as anything. Gotta love the humour that these guys have.

???
I'm not sure how that answers my question but perhaps I can help you with some advice:
a. If you are losing money or even spending much doing this hunt then you may be doing it wrong.
b. Your time is best spent trying to solve the clues rather than trying to track down the huntsetters.
Happy Hunting
