Well, it looks as though the "sponge" is outta the bag.
I mean Sponge Bob fits in with all of the speculation. He's a shapeshifter, on the order of Plastic Man, lives in the sea, probably related to the coelacanth and "sponge" has the same number of letters as "Minker" and Sponge Bob undoubtedly has powers living in the depths of the ocean that would make him incredibly strong like Aqua Man.
So maybe the CGI that we thought was coming in post-production is not CGI after all--it's probably just really cool animation.
So, who in Sponge Bob's world would Mysterio be maquerading as? Patrick. Squid worth (or whatever his name is?) Maybe they'll even have Bruce from Jaws make a cameo?
