I should have somewhere in the neighborhood of 3,000 of them... so I can let one go (just for you, cuz you're a fellow Flynn Lives ARGer) for about $50.
Sheesh! Kidding! Not even going to SDCC. I went one year thinking beforehand it'd be cool to hang with some other geeks and realized that there are at least 5 million of people who are far geekier than I am. It was like ODing on geekdom, so I vowed that I'm done with conventions. I'll settle for the measured doses I get from the net. |
One wonders what the reaction would be to actually going up and pulling out that wodge of cash and offering to buy all of them right then and there.Tho frankly at that number, you'd think that at the very least you could get a bulk discount. I'm just saying.

Better question is- how much for them to get one for me and not him?

Blurb from http://toynewsi.com:

First up is a limited edition die-cast replica of Sam's Light Cycle from the "Tron Legacy" movie. It will be limited to 3000 pieces and cost $5. The second exclusive will be a special edition Tron Vintage Figure. This will be a static figure of Tron from the original "Tron" movie and will come in a very cool-looking package made to look like the Tron arcade game. The figure has a light-up feature on the base that can be activated in or out of the arcade-style packaging. This figure will be limited to 1500 pieces and cost $40.
Both of these exclusives will be made available only to those people who attend the San Diego Comic Con, and they will be sold at the Tron booth being run by the folks at Spinmaster and Disney. San Diego Comic Con takes place from July 21-25. |
That's right... will be on sale at the TRON BOOTH!

Okay now that's just silly. They repackaged some old 90's halo frisbees.

That's mean... Only 3000 toys ?
So, impossible to have it in France. |
Don't let it upset you to much. Remember, the planet's likely to be deluged with a massive merchandising campaign any time now. Don't be surprised if these exact toys won't be available for all, just minus the limited edition packaging.
That, and there's always eBay!
