Well if you have checked it lately a new background has appeared and there seems to be a printer, email, and note pad icons in the back. I also agree with the sound thing. Both of those should be looked at and don't get to worked up lol. Abrhams is messing with us and we no it.

I don't think that has been brought up before either. Good work!

Apologies in advance if this has been mentioned, utilizing the search function did not return anything.
Paramount using Peli's Area 51 film as a smokescreen for him to film footage for Super 8?
Quote:
Peli began shooting Area 51, another found-video thriller which is described as a “claustrophobic terror”, last month in Utah. Peli is trying to keep details under wraps, saying “I’d rather not say anything about ‘Area 51′ except that I am very pleased to be working with the same team who stood by me for the two or three years it took ‘Paranormal Activity’ to get into theaters.”
All we know is that the new film will have a “significantly larger budget than the $11,000 that was spent on Paranormal Activity, the story will be framed in a “found footage” narrative, and will center around “three teenagers whose curiosity leads them to the legendary and mysterious Area 51 Air Force base deep in the Nevada desert.”

So maybe this is Transformers 3......

Mistake, or clue?
I'm at an internet cafe on holiday and have few seconds left (I think) but recall on the HLM site when comments from readers were up and someone (can't recall, don't have time to link it up) had something related to Super that had been posted, and then was dropped?
While there's a delay in game, could that mean something we've not yet figgered out? I had commented in the past that the first initials of the names of posters anagram out to "dream, armed."
What say you?

that would make sense. Id rather have a big lull at the beginning before things really got going. Its worse when you have a huge break right in the middle.

The pattern here is the same as with Cloverfield, there was a teaser trailer and no film footage shot at all when the teaser debuted, and the game started, then the filming followed. There was a rather bad lull in that one though, well into things. Hopefully that's not what happens here, and I think they are trying to avoid that later lull by not getting rolling quite so fast.

im suprised that they started the game before they had anything on film.

at least we're in fairly early on this one. It always make sense for ARGs to have some down time for the word of mouth to spread, and people to get interested. I'm sure there's a mystical sweet spot between waiting just right, and waiting too long.

it really sucks waiting. But your right, they havent even started filming yet.
still sucks though.

Since the movie doesn't start filming until next month, the game can't be running at speed this early. It wouldn't last until next summer.
I fully expect this current lull and wouldn't anticipate great leaps ahead in the near future. The game will need to BUILD over the next year, not start at the top and fizzle out by next spring.
Hang in there, players! Good ARG times ahead.

DEVICE?
The only thing I can think of to continue with at the moment is the DEVICE? Option, but I heard thats just a dead end.
