Wow! Now I'm even more sorry I have to miss this ARGfest.. This price for a W hotel made me reconsider and I have to say I've been wavering and crunching numbers- still to no avail.

I have always wanted to stay at a W hotel and could never justify the cost.

well, at the hotel inevitably, but ya, anyway. I'm going to try to be at the hotel for checkin at 3pm... leaves lots of time for touristy/social stuffs

I mean if I buy the ticket online, I can select the discount price instead of regular... is that valid? Is there some other requirement I need to qualify for the discount price? I did a quick skim of info but couldn't find any help about that discount price option. Which kind of bugs me from a design standpoint where's the "(?)" ? heh

They differ somewhat if you get them through other means like companion passes, or vouchers, or status upgrades, or reward travel. I suspect they list them all so that it looks like a ticking clock. "get the remaining discount fares before it goes up to this other price!" (as if all prices don't change daily anyway…)
