dont rush the blue. you have until the 30th to get it open. i opened my blue in 2 sittings, about 4.5 hours total. it didnt even last me a full 24 hours.

Still the best damn puzzle i've EVER bought. even cornett liked it. hes tested the green prototype and is amazed by it. just think the bronze version still looks the same, but i believe it will be COMPLETELY different internally. which will probably make it harder for those of us who have the blue and green to open. good luck ymir.

I can truely say these puzzles are amazing!.

I recieved my puzzle on the 26th of march, and had it solved 24 hours later. this was probably the second hardest, but definetely the most fun puzzle i've ever solved.

I go to Marie Calanders every Friday evening after work to relax with friends. i took it with me to dinner the same night i solved it. the puzzle didnt even make it 2 seats before someone asked if they could borrow it. He has since solved it and as of the 3rd of April, a second friend is well on his way to being consumed by the ReVoMaze!

The second of the 5 puzzles, the green, is being launched on the last day of April. These are sure to please as they are a harder version of the Blues.

Agreed steve,

So far this has been by far the best puzzle i have come across. I havent solved it but then again I preffer to take my time solving puzzles to prolong the enjoyment. Highly addictive and fun.

I look forward to opening all five in the series.

Re: Caved in!!

i hadn't thought about it, but a verbal to buy the set as individual puzzles is just as good as, if not better than buying the whole set at once; income wise for Chris. you're buying the stands and paying for shipping still i assume.

See more ReVoMaze Images, including some that will never be made, at http://photobucket.com/Huszar

Warning, these are all low quality, first time, 3 minute effects!

i so understand where you are coming from. so do you just have the verbal from chris or did you commit the cash? once i talked to chris and he was more than willing to hold my set number for me, i felt very comfortable buying the set because my word was good enough. and if my word is good enough from this far away, then his is too.

Just verbal, i would love to buy the set but again it comes down to cash and buying my new babies clothes has to come before my puzzles, but i am good to my word and will buy them all as seperates.

Ah Cornett, welcome. Honestly, I realize you are here to advertise the review column and spread the good word. But honestly, you're not giving Chris the credit he deserves.

Congrats on winning the 8-12. I know you were gunning for it.

To ADD to what you were saying...
I really thought I knew what 5 star service was until I met Chris Pitt. You say someone talked with him for 3 hours, he chatted with me for 2.5 days. I count a day as about 12 hours. He’s told me so much about the projects he’s got going on, he's had to ask me to keep my big trap shut. Honestly, most people that haven't gotten into this puzzle yet are missing out. And those that are in it and know how great this adventure is going to be are seriously underestimating Chris Pitt.

Everyone who has stated that it’s not worth dumping $450 into buying a whole set of these puzzles, and opted to just buy one is now rethinking that strategy and picking up the other 4 and in some cases a whole other set. The best part of it is that this thing hasn’t even started yet. We haven’t even seen an actual blue anodized ReVoMaze yet. Hell we haven’t seen an anodized ReVoMaze of any color!

Heres a crappy photoshop sample of what the blue might look like:

Caved in!!

After posting that i thought i wasn't hardcore enough to want all the same numbers i went away and within the hour i had to admit that i am a hardcore puzzle geek and that having a set with all the same number is important!

Chris has kindly agreed that i can have all the number 26's. I feel ashamed im on a slippery slope to geekdom and possibly bankrupt from excesssive puzzle purchases!!!

Re: smart arse!

cant say i blame you. if it hadn't been for my company handing out annual bonuses every February, i would be in the same boat as you. i just got lucky and went with it. i am hoping that chris comes out with sets after the second week of february every year so that i always have that bonus money to buy em.

smart arse!

Fair enough i stand corrected on the price issue, i would love to have ordered a full set but paying for one at a time is a bit better on my pocket as i can spread the cost over several pay packets. The wife would kill me if i bought the lot up front, she lets me get nearly all the stupid toys that i want including over priced first edition books etc, didin't want to push my luck on this one. Although it is a good saving for thoses who can do it.

Looking forward to getting started!

As for having all the same numbers i can understand the appeal i just feel im not hardcore enough for that as long as they all work i can live with different numbers.

Thanks for the correction i wouldn't want to be responsable fro missleading anyone.

Good luck!
