37. You're scared to walk through your house at night because you're afraid a guy in a mask is going to jump out at you and drag you away to a secluded area to instruct you to deliver a package of unknown contents to a random person you've never met... and you have no idea why you're even doing it.

39. Unfortunately, your dreams all revolve around trying to crack a damn cult leader's password so you can see a page which may not even be useful.

guilty Confused

85. You change the bluetooth name on your phone to "the sleeping princess" in hope to get the attention of any ARG players that could be nearby (sadly, hasnt worked yet.....)

86. You jump when you answer the phone, and hear a click, sure that you're about to be connected to an in-game character.

Thank goodness more people think about ARG in the john. However, sitting in a bathroom and getting ideas on where it hide clues... sounds painful.

Ooh, i had that happen to me: I was taking a break (you know what i mean Wink ), and i saw a little drain grate overa drain on the floor, and it gave me a wonderful idea for a puzzle!

80. You make puzzles out of random objects (see above)

81. You find it cool that you are one of a couple thousand people who could tell you what Puppetmaster means, who Virgil Tatum is, and what the heck is an Axon is!

82. You talk about ARGs while in public (ex. while on the subway train) hoping that another ARG player a few seats down will go "Did you just say 'Who is Benjamin Stove?'"

83. You watch A.I. just to bask in the the glorious radience of The Beast. (I haven't done this yet, but i'm going to soon!)

84. You post to an Unfiction thread entitled "You know if you're an ARG player!!"

79. While playing Halo 2, you actually pause to ask yourself, "Does HKDL have Xbox Live?". You then laugh maniacally for five minutes.

78. You wish you had the skills and the money to create a series of web-pages, bulletin-boards, walk-through games and so on. Of course you have the specs since long written in your ARG-ideas booklet.

77. You find yourself disappointed when the "Where is my Gnome" ads in newspapers and the blog turn out to be an ad campaign, and they don't turn it into a kick-A** ARG.

76. While visiting your favorite restaurant, you spend atleast 20 minutes trying to figure out how to turn the decorative plate that the waitress has so generously placed in front of you into a puzzle.

73. You have dreams about really cool games launching.

74. You go to regular puzzle stores and try to solve different kinds of those metal puzzles and fit-all-these-weird-blocks-together puzzles, hoping it means you'll do better in the next ARG (or just as an ARG-er ego thing). Razz

72.5 - You set your VCR a week in advance to tape the TCM showing of Logan's Run at 11:15p (because you know you won't be able to stay away, and you want to be able to freeze-frame and rewind).
June 22, 11:15p PST. Turner Classic Movie channel.

70. You start placing trails in your own personal website for your real life friends to find. Knowingly they will never find them unless you tell them and when you do tell them they need it explaining to them again again why you have done it.

This is so true. ... especially the explaining again and again ... and again.

yeah, very, very true. "This thing isn't working! I just get a blank page!" "Well, did you read those 10 Commandments of ARGs I linked? And then did you notice that the title of the page is '1st Commandment'"? "I don't get it..."

71. You wrote an article about ARGs for your school paper and put secret messages in at the end, including ASCII code for "If you get this, I will buy you a coke". So far, you don't owe anyone a coke.

72. You went out and spent money you don't have on a copy of Logan's Run on DVD because you haven't seen it in forever and you can't get the VHS from the library because obviously there is something hidden in the commentary on the DVD. And you did this to play on ARG based on a B-grade cult sci-fi film from the 70's.
