So far ive located images for
xxx,xxx,xxx,002
003,---,005,---,
007,---,067,---,
---,097,---,101,
---,---,---,167,
---,---,197,---,
199,227,---,---,

229, and 233 (which have letter pieces, but no suit symbol)

Some are missing letter pieces like the snowflake one.

Still need images for, 037, 071, 103, 131, and 163.
And if possible a better image of 002, 003, 007, and a 223 that
actually show some letter pieces. If you can confirm no letter pieces
on your print let me know that as well.

HTML for the loss.

The line with the 002 align it with the 4th column as it is a spade.

I dont have all the images yet but this is the final layout of
the cards.

The top set is what we had, up to ISTOLETHECUBEHELPME...

I have put xxx in place of blank spots.

Im thinking though, with the card layout we have so far
we might have enough data to figure out the final message.

Code:
211   083   151   017
113   053   173   023
011   137   149   059
019   107   251   043
079   181   179   241
047   041   109   139
089   013   073
=====================
                  002
003   xxx   005   xxx
007   037   067   071
xxx   097   xxx   101
103   131   163   167
xxx   xxx   197   xxx
199   227   xxx   xxx

Edit: Added code tag and fixed formatting to correct presentation. -SpaceBass

M...

Has anyone noticed that the bottom left corner of 013 Sphinx has darker outlines, almost like that of a shaded letter? The letter in the bottom left corner of 073 is either a C, a G, or a S. The only letter that fits before the consonant is a vowel. the only vowel that fits the letter E. The bottom right corner of 073 is the same shape as the bottom right corner of 113, which was an O. The bottom left corner of 073 has a large downstroke before the beginning of the curve. If you look at the S of 151, however, it has a short downstroke. Thus the bottom left corner of 073 is not an S. Therefore, I think that the message either reads:
I STOLE THE CUBE HELP ME (C or G)O...
or
I STOLE THE CUBE HELP M E(G or C)O...

As I understand it Mind Candy encourages trading cards which a good number of people have done. This is all part of the game, doing deals and building relations with other players builds the community.

I have also been to a swap meet at Fan Boy 3 where they encouraged card trading and also provided free refreshments to oil the wheels, despite the fact that selling cards and games pays their wages.

I'll be in the playground at Preston Mail Centre this Sunday to swap some cards. If you prefer to gamble we can play pitch and toss.

Be there or be a four sided equilateral right handed thingy Laughing

On the one hand, you have people collaborating and sharing their information/answers/etc. On the other hand, you have people who are natural/compulsive collectors and want to personally own a copy of every card. Then you have the people who will put forth a good effort to complete the set, but won't go crazy trying to get those few rare cards required to do so. I think it all balances out.

Bought 200 cards today and found only 5 I didn't have).

Thought I'd bring things up to date with the confirmed letters from new cards.

The layout of cards we have so far is :

Code:
211   083   151   017
113   053   173   023
011   137   149   059
019   107   251   043
079   181   179   241
047   041   109   139
089   013   073

I've put together a scaled composite of the images here http://www.perplexcitycardmanager.com/letters.html

No new information per se - just making sure we're all up to date Smile

I've had to crash out of PerplexCity for a long time due to time constraints - just wondering if anyone is following my work at this puzzle since the new cards have came out?

#047 - Opposites Attract doesn't have a playing card symbol on it, yet does include the shading typical of the other cards.

This leads me to believe there are actually two puzzles here, one being the text, the other being the playing card connection.

On the subject of the cards, does anyone think there may well be a link to card #143 - Pocket Rockets, or any other playing card puzzle cards?

I think it is generally believed that the absence of a playing card symbol on #047 is a misprint as it appears on the card's reproduction here.

Also, there is a strong connection between the symbols and the text, mentioned elsewhere in this thread.

Regarding a connection to other cards, many believe it may be connected to #243 - Shuffled. But I remember seeing somewhere that all the puzzle cards are supposed to be self contained, so if there is a deeper significance to the symbols it will not be directly related to solving a particular card.

Hi All, I noticed a link to this thread after starting the game this week and looking at the forum for interesting links not related to the individual card pzzles, and thought I'd let you know that I've found a card that doesn't fit in to the hypothesis.

Hope my first post here wasn't too noob.

Perhaps they won't touch the Jokers, leaving them unmarked and altogether skipped. Then, the question could be to find the jokers and use those 2 primes somewhere down the line.

*shrug*

Beats me; I suppose we should wait for the next bunch of them and wait for the message to roll along.
