Great job!
But, I see shading on #013 (just got it today), but no playing card symbol. Am I missing it somewhere?
No, there isn't a playing card symbol on all the cards.

First things first, shading only appears on cards with playing card symbols on (Ace of Spades, 9 of Clubs etc) so this led me to believe that they are linked. So to reveal the message a bit of trial and error was needed on my part. I'll spare you the details, but to reveal the message yourself, you'll need to do the following things...

HELP ME...
"...bring him/her to justice" fits those last question marks. Then again, so does 'flog it on ebay please', 'annoy you with a blog' and 'and i'll help you, yeah", so who knows?
Actually "flog it on ebay please" is one letter too long Nice try though

message on the cards
Maybe the first "letter" will be a question mark.
cf. [When I have a question I do this (?)]

This seems fishy. I hope that the solution isn't just "buy all the cards" so we can figure out that it says "hey guys, I stole the cube, call me and I'll tell you where it is". I mean, I know that's exaggerating, but there doesn't seem to be a good plausible way to explain that.
Unless Sente took it. Then his 'card campaign' would be to help people on Earth FIND it, while telling Perplexians it was just to find who TOOK it. Maybe he lost it on Earth, and wants it back. Maybe at the end people will have to decide between returning it to the theif or returning it to the citizens of PPC. Helllooo, twist time!
Or maybe I just shouldn't spec when I just got off work. In any case, nice work pieceing that much together!

Who says the guy who's asking for help isn't Sente? Who's to say it's even a guy?

so now we definitely got factions -- do we support sente or this guy who is asking for help?

Don't think so, Driz. Red 013 - Sphinx - looks to have been done by Aiko Entrescore, whereas Blue 137 - Sub Rosa - seems to be Anna Heath's work.

Who are the puzzle makers on the lettered card?
Great work, MarcB!
Just wondering, do these set of partial letter cards have a common author?

the cards were designed in perplex city and digitally sent to MC i assume -- they just followed instructions
so i think the person who made the message added it to designs in PPX
