It's not fantasy in the traditional sense of the word. But still the vibe is indeed there.

Nope. But the favorite color is red.

I wanted to make a remark about how close that guess is but it would totally put you on the wrong track.

I'll cop to the eclectic, but i wouldn't have them if they were hard to find -- my public library lets me check these out for free (due in 1 week) and I haven't exhausted the shelves yet!
For the current challenge, I'm getting a fantasy vibe, but nothing comes to mind yet.

My first thought on the second shot was Monty Python and the Holy Grail. But they rode in on coconuts instead of a horse - so no.

Cool film! In my other life I'm a mathematician - so this movie hits all the right marks for me.
Someone else go for me please. I'm in the middle of something.

catherwood always comes up with these eclectic and very hard to find offerings. This looked like an interesting one. Outside of some TORtured process, is there a way to see this one via the rental or ppv avenues?

No to both. But Puppy's short story title is so close in spirit. I have read Dress Your Family in Corduroy and Denim - the Sedaris book that includes Puppy's guess - and a few others by him. Some of his essays have brought me to laughter-induced tears.
So here's another shot, a close-up of the book that should pretty much send this one home, home, home.

This so looks like a short story ‘Nuit of the Living Dead’ by David Sedaris.
If you have the time listen to it. It's GREAT. (click here)
