The Public Enemy is a few years older and more dramatic. With a wee bit o' luck you'll guess it with this shot.

It's amazing how similar that actor looks in the above movie still compared to this one from the title you guessed, but the set looks very different. I'm going to guess what we're looking for is even older... or, you know, i could be completely wrong. The police badge on the guy on the left could be a match to one of these... oh, and here's the kitchen from the movie, at least the tablecloth matches. I think he's got it!

I'd be on top of the world if I could figure this one out; but, I'm a dirty, no good, yellow-bellied stool.

Here's another shot with a more recognizable actor (I think). Sorry the pic quality isn't so great though.

No - this one was made a few years earlier than Sullivan's Travels. Here's another shot.

Shot in the dark. One of the first road movies (I guess) and Veronica Lake did wear a white dress in that one;

Sounds like your neighborhood was the place to be - if you were running with the right guys.
OK - here's another try.

Great movie. It really hits home. My best friends were the Sheriff's sons and we got away with more stuff than any other neighborhood in the county. It's amazing we still have all our parts.
Go ahead and go again, r. m.
I keep getting lucky and need to hold off posting till more folks have seen the postings.
