Wow. What a range of guesses but alas all are wrong.

This next shot is like a key scene in the movie. The "Luke I am your father" moment.. well in the puzzle-way and not really that dramatic but the real cinematic key scene would give it away after a short google search.

I'm right there with catherwood.

All I can think of is Dawn of the Dead; but, the composition just doesn't look right for it. That, and I don't remember any specific scenes that weren't filmed at the mall. One of my Army buddies was an extra in that movie while at Pitt..
