the Mother's/Letting go theme (which is played during that locket part).
|
And would you believe it? I was spot on. That track on the soundtrack is titled "Letting Go."

I was wondering what song that was that played at the end of the movie. They seem to play it throughout the movie with different instruments, I would appreciate it if someone knew |
which song? the Giacchino theme? or during the credits? they played "Don't Bring Me Down" at the start of the credits, as well as in that scene when schools lets out. and the other song during the credits was "My Sharona" (which was in the credits for obvious reasons) |
I think it might be in the Giacchino theme. It started playing when Joe's mother's locket opened from the Magnetic force from the water tower

I guess if you took that to heart, you would be disappointed. Oh well, I don't think it warrants rating the movie 1/10...

This is blowing my mind right now. What? |
The whole ARG was / is so mind thrilling and exiting , with the scarriestthing website and the movie room editing the clips, that my expectations to see the movie did grow sky high...
And then when I saw the movie, it was a big disapointment for me.
I remember the interview: The creature designer told "When that door blows open," he says, "it's the ultimate reveal. It's Elvis or something."
Welll you noticed that scene your self I think....
There is no " WOW " moment in the movie....
Well.. the train crash is the "WOW" moment, but that we knew already..

I absolutely loved it. It met my expectations, a little higher too. Cooper was really cute too in some way.

I thought this movie was fantastic
| Spoiler (Rollover to View): |
I loved this creature's control over the electronics. That scene with the army trucks firing all over the place was surreal.
From the train wreck on my heart was beating wildly. I had to disconnect for a moment so I could get my breath back. It was that awesome.
Does anyone think it was using the water tower as fuel? I got that distinct impression.

| Spoiler (Rollover to View): |
| Anteros - yes the water already contained in a large tank on a launch pad could have been Cooper's fuel of choice. Then in addition to the human coming of age / family healing / LIVE message, another lesson could be in hospitality. Too bad we were such rude hosts to Cooper. If we were a little more friendly, maybe he would have shared his H2O fuel technology with us.
